Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your KRUPS KT611 Precision Programmable Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker. Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance and retain this manual for future reference.

Configuració

Abans del primer ús, seguiu aquests passos:

1. Desembalar: Remove all packaging materials and labels from the coffee maker.
2. Components nets: Wash the thermal carafe, its lid, and the filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The main unit can be wiped with a damp tela.
3. Cicle d'esbandida inicial: Fill the water reservoir to the MAX level with fresh, cold water. Do not add coffee grounds. Place the empty thermal carafe with its lid on the warming plate. Press the ON/OFF button to run a full brewing cycle. Discard the water. This cleans the internal components and removes any manufacturing residue. Repeat this process once more.

Elaboració de cafè

1. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired number of cups, indicated by the water level markings. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.

2. Afegeix el marc de cafè: Place a standard basket-style paper filter (or the reusable filter if included) into the filter basket. Add the desired amount of ground coffee. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of coffee per cup, but adjust to your taste.
3. Posició de la garrafa: Ensure the thermal carafe with its lid is correctly placed on the warming plate.

Setting the Clock and Programmable Auto-On

1. Estableix l'hora actual: With the coffee maker plugged in, use the h (hour) and min (minute) buttons to set the current time. The display will show the time.
2. Program Auto-On Time: Premeu el botó PROG botó. La pantalla parpellejarà. Feu servir el botó h i min buttons to set the desired brew time. The KT611 allows you to set two different auto-on times (e.g., one for weekdays, one for weekends). Press PROG again to confirm the first time, then repeat for the second time if desired.
3. Activa l'activació automàtica: After setting the program time(s), press the AUTO ON button. The indicator light for AUTO ON will illuminate, and the coffee maker will automatically brew at the set time(s).

Funció Aroma

For a more intense flavor extraction, press the AROMA button before starting the brew cycle. This function slows down the brewing process, allowing for a richer coffee taste.

Pause and Serve Feature

The coffee maker is equipped with a pause and serve feature, allowing you to temporarily remove the carafe during the brewing cycle to pour a cup of coffee. The flow of coffee will stop automatically. Replace the carafe within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.

Neteja diària

• Clean Shower Head: Periodically check the shower head for any coffee residue or mineral deposits. Wipe clean with a damp tela.

Descaling (Decalcification)

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance and coffee taste. Descale your appliance regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-3 months).

1. Preparació de la solució: Mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts water. Fill the water reservoir with this solution up to the MAX level.
2. Run Half Cycle: Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Press the ON/OFF button to start a brew cycle. After about half the solution has brewed through, turn off the coffee maker and let it stand for 15-20 minutes.
3. Cicle complet: Turn the coffee maker back on to complete the brewing cycle. Discard the solution.
4. Cicles d'esbandida: Run at least two full cycles with fresh, cold water to rinse out any remaining vinegar taste or odor.
