2. Configuració
2.1. Desembalatge i inspecció inicial
Traieu amb cura tots els components de l'embalatge. Assegureu-vos que hi hagi els elements següents:
- OM SYSTEM OLYMPUS SZ-12 Digital Camera
- Rechargeable Lithium Metal Battery
- Cable USB
- Corretja de canell
- Manual d'usuari (aquest document)
If any items are missing or damaged, please contact your retailer or Olympus customer support.
2.2. Inserció de la bateria i la targeta de memòria
1. Open the Battery/Card Compartment: Locate the battery/card compartment cover on the bottom of the camera. Slide the latch to open the cover.
2. Introduïu la bateria: Insert the provided Lithium Metal battery into the battery slot, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated by the diagram inside the compartment. Push until it clicks into place.
3. Inseriu la targeta de memòria: Insert a compatible SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card (not included) into the memory card slot with the label facing the correct direction. Push until it clicks into place. For Wi-Fi connectivity, an optional EyeFi card can be used.
4. Tanca la coberta: Close the battery/card compartment cover securely until the latch clicks.
2.3. Carregant la bateria
Connect the camera to a power source using the supplied USB cable and a USB AC adapter (not included) or a computer. The battery indicator will show charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
2.4. Encès / apagat
Premeu el botó [PODER] button located on the top of the camera to turn the camera on or off.
3. Funcionament de la càmera
3.1. Fotografia bàsica
1. Seleccioneu un mode: Use the mode dial (if present) or menu options to select your desired shooting mode. For general use, the Intelligent Auto mode is recommended.
2. Enquadra la teva presa: Use the 3-inch LCD display to compose your image. Utilize the 24x optical zoom by pressing the zoom lever (W for wide, T for telephoto) to adjust your focal length.
3. Focus: Half-press the shutter button to allow the camera to focus. The focus frame will turn green when focus is achieved.

3.2. HD Video Recording
The SZ-12 allows for high-definition video recording with a simple one-touch button. To start recording, press the dedicated [PEL·LÍCULA] button. Press it again to stop recording. Videos can be played back on an HD television using the HDMI output.
3.3. Magic Art Filters (Still & Movie)
Add unique artistic flair to your photos and videos directly in-camera with Olympus Magic Art Filters. These effects are applied without the need for additional software or editing time.
Available filters include:

3.4. High-Speed Sequential Shooting
Capture fast-moving action with the high-speed burst shooting feature. This allows you to take a rapid sequence of photos with a single press of the shutter button, increasing your chances of getting the perfect shot.
3.5. Dual Image Stabilization
The camera features Dual Image Stabilization, which combines Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization with high ISO sensitivity and fast shutter speeds. This technology works to reduce blur caused by camera shake or subject movement, ensuring crisp and clear images even in challenging conditions.
3.6. Intelligent Auto
Intelligent Auto mode automatically identifies the scene you are shooting from up to 30 different scene modes (e.g., Portrait, Landscape, Night + Portrait, Macro, Sports). It then adjusts the camera settings for optimal results, making it easy to achieve great photos without manual adjustments.
4. Manteniment
4.1. Neteja de la càmera
- Cos de la càmera: Feu servir un drap suau i sec per netejar el cos de la càmera. Per a la brutícia persistent, netegeu suaumentampal drap amb aigua o una solució de neteja suau.
- Lent: Use a lens brush or a blower to remove dust. For smudges, use a lens cleaning cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Avoid touching the lens with your fingers.
- Pantalla LCD: Netegeu suaument la pantalla amb un drap suau i sense pelusa.
4.2. Cura de la bateria
- Guardeu les piles en un lloc fresc i sec quan no les utilitzeu.
- Eviteu exposar les piles a temperatures extremes.
- Do not fully discharge the battery regularly; recharge it before it's completely depleted.
4.3. Emmagatzematge
Quan guardeu la càmera durant períodes prolongats, traieu la bateria i la targeta de memòria. Guardeu la càmera en un entorn sec i sense pols, preferiblement en una bossa o estoig per a la càmera.
5. Solució De Problemes
Si teniu problemes amb la càmera, consulteu els problemes i solucions més comuns següents:
