This user manual provides detailed instructions for the RadioShack Wireless Lapel Microphone System, Model Rad-0995. Receptor

Configuració

1. Install Batteries in Transmitter:

   Open the battery compartment on the transmitter. Insert two fresh AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment. Close the compartment securely.

2. Connect Lapel Microphone to Transmitter:

   Plug the 3.5mm jack of the lapel microphone into the microphone input jack on the transmitter.

3. Connect Receiver to Power:

   Plug the included 9V, 200mA AC adapter into the DC input jack on the receiver, then plug the adapter into a standard AC power outlet. The Power indicator on the receiver should illuminate.
4. Connect Receiver to Audio System:

   Connect the audio output jack of the receiver to the microphone input or auxiliary input of your amplifier, mixer, or sound system using an appropriate audio cable (not included).

   Extend the receiver's antenna fully and position it vertically for optimal signal reception.

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Encès:

   Turn on the transmitter using its power switch. The Power indicator on the receiver should illuminate, and the Ready indicator should light up, indicating a signal is being received.

   Clip the lapel microphone to your clothing, approximately 6-12 inches from your mouth, for clear voice pickup. Ensure the microphone is not covered by clothing.

3. Ajustar el volum:

   Adjust the Volume control on the receiver to achieve the desired audio output level through your connected sound system. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to avoid feedback.
4. Adjust Squelch:

   If you hear static or background noise when no one is speaking into the microphone, slowly turn the Squelch control clockwise until the noise disappears. Do not set the squelch too high, as it may reduce the operational range or cut off quiet sounds.

5. Interval operatiu:

   The system has an operational range of up to 200 feet (approximately 60 meters) in open areas. Performance may vary depending on environmental conditions, obstacles, and interference.

6. Compander Noise Reduction:

   The built-in compander noise reduction technology helps to minimize unwanted background noise, ensuring clear audio transmission.
7. Apagar:

   When finished, turn off the transmitter first, then the receiver. Disconnect the AC adapter from the power outlet if not in use for an extended period.

Manteniment

• Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the receiver and transmitter. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.
