This thermostat is designed for single-stage heating or cooling systems, including single-stage heat pumps and 250mv-750mv millivolt heating systems. Instal·lació
1. Apagueu l'alimentació
Before beginning installation, ensure the power to your heating and cooling system is completely turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box. This prevents electrical shock and damage to the equipment.
2. Treure el termòstat antic
Carefully remove the cover of your old thermostat. Take a picture of the existing wiring connections for reference. Label each wire with the terminal designation it was connected to (e.g., R, W, Y, G, C). Disconnect the wires and remove the old thermostat's mounting plate.
3. Mount New Wall Plate
Position the Braeburn 2020 wall plate against the wall where the old thermostat was located. Use the provided screws and wall anchors to secure the wall plate. Ensure the wires pass through the opening in the wall plate.
4. Wire the Thermostat
Connect the labeled wires to the corresponding terminals on the new Braeburn 2020 wall plate. Refer to the wiring diagram below for common configurations. If your old thermostat had a 'C' wire, connect it to the 'C' terminal on the new thermostat for continuous 24V AC power. If no 'C' wire is present, the thermostat will operate on battery power.

5. Install Batteries and Attach Thermostat
Insert the two AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the thermostat unit. Align the thermostat with the wall plate and gently push it onto the plate until it snaps securely into place.

1. Set Current Time and Day

1. Selecció del mode del sistema

In any operating mode (HEAT or COOL), use the UP or ABAIX arrow buttons to adjust the desired setpoint temperature. The display will show the new setpoint temporarily.
4. Hold Function (Temporary Override)
Premeu el botó MANTENIM button to temporarily override the programmed schedule. The thermostat will maintain the current setpoint temperature indefinitely until the MANTENIM button is pressed again or the system mode is changed. The word "HOLD" will appear on the display.
Programming (7-Day or 5-2 Day Modes)
If your thermostat is configured for 7-day or 5-2 day programming, you can set custom schedules for different times of the day and week. The thermostat allows for four program periods per day: Morning, Day, Evening, and Night.

- After setting all desired program periods for a day or group of days, press TORNAR to save and exit program mode.
3. Adaptive Recovery Mode (ARM)
ARM allows the thermostat to activate the heating or cooling system prior to a scheduled program period to ensure the desired temperature is reached by the start of that period. This feature is typically enabled in the installer setup menu.
4. Temporary Program Override
If you adjust the temperature using the UP or ABAIX arrow buttons while in normal operating mode (not HOLD), the thermostat will temporarily override the current program setpoint until the next scheduled program period begins. The display will show "TEMP HOLD" or similar indication.
Manteniment

To replace, gently pull the thermostat unit straight off the wall plate, replace the batteries, and then snap the unit back onto the wall plate.
