Using the XMV V-Pad

The XMV V-pad is designed to securely hold round or irregularly shaped objects, such as pipes, within your Strong Hand UM series utility clamp.

1. To attach the V-pad: Align the V-pad with the jaw of your UM series clamp. Insert the provided hex bolt through the designated hole in the V-pad and into the clamp jaw. Tighten the bolt securely with an appropriate hex key.
2. Once attached, position the V-pad against the object you wish to clamp. Ensure the object is seated firmly in the V-groove for maximum stability.

Using the XMB2 2-inch Extender Block

1. To attach the extender block: Thread the extender block onto the end of the clamp's screw mechanism, replacing the standard foot. Ensure it is threaded completely and securely.
