Configuració

- Muntatge:
- Attach the hose to the blaster unit and the nozzle assembly. Use PTFE tape on all threaded connections to ensure an airtight seal.
- Ensure all connections are tight before pressurizing the unit.
- Abrasive Media Loading:
- Ensure the unit is depressurized before loading media.
- Use the provided funnel to carefully pour up to 20 lbs. of dry, clean abrasive media (e.g., silica, silicon carbide, aluminum oxide) into the tank.

- Connect a 1/4 inch-18 NPT air hose from your air compressor to the blaster's air inlet.
- Ensure your air compressor can provide the required air consumption: 6 CFM @ 60 PSI, 25 CFM @ 125 PSI.
- A moisture separator is included and should be used to prevent moisture from entering the tank.
Instruccions de funcionament
- Preparació:
- Porteu tots els EPI necessaris.
- Prepare the surface to be blasted, ensuring it is clean and free of loose debris.
- Ensure the work area is clear of obstructions and well-ventilated.
- Pressurizing the Unit:
- Close all valves on the blaster unit.
- Slowly open the air supply valve from your compressor.
- Monitor the pressure gauge (if equipped) and ensure the working pressure is between 60-125 PSI. The safety valve will activate if pressure exceeds safe limits.
- Blasting Operation:
- Point the nozzle at the target surface.
- Gradually open the abrasive media shut-off valve. There are four different shut-off valve locations for adjusting media flow.
- Begin blasting. Adjust air pressure and media flow as needed for optimal performance.
- Maintain a consistent distance and angle for even abrasive removal.
- Apagant:
- Close the abrasive media shut-off valve.
- Close the air supply valve from your compressor.
- Slowly open the pressure relief valve to depressurize the tank.
- Once depressurized, disconnect the air supply.
Manteniment
- Després de cada ús:
- Depressurize the unit completely.
- Empty any remaining abrasive media from the tank to prevent moisture absorption and clogging.
- Clean the nozzle and hose to remove any abrasive residue.
- Manteniment regular:
- Inspect the hose for cracks, kinks, or wear. Replace if damaged.
- Check all connections for leaks. Tighten or re-tape as necessary.
- Periodically inspect the safety valve to ensure it is free from obstructions and functions correctly.
- Drain moisture from your air compressor's tank regularly.

- Store the abrasive blaster in a dry, clean environment, away from extreme temperatures.
- Ensure the tank is empty and depressurized before storage.
