Configuració

Upon first use or after prolonged storage in darkness, your watch may require initial charging and time synchronization.

The GWM500A-1 features Tough Solar Power. Expose the watch face to light to charge the internal battery. Direct sunlight is most efficient, but indoor lighting will also charge it, albeit slower. Ensure the watch is exposed to light regularly to maintain a high charge level.

Atomic Time Synchronization (Multi-Band 6)

This watch automatically receives time calibration signals from six transmission stations worldwide (Japan, North America, UK, Germany, China) to maintain accurate time. The watch attempts to synchronize daily, typically overnight.

• Automatic Receive: The watch will attempt to receive the calibration signal automatically every night, usually around midnight. For best reception, place the watch near a window, away from metal objects and electronic devices.
• Recepció manual: To manually initiate time synchronization, press and hold the "Forward" button (or "Receive" on older models) until "RC" appears on the display. The watch will then attempt to receive the signal. A successful reception is indicated by a small satellite dish symbol on the display.

The stopwatch measures elapsed time, split times, and two finishes. It has a 1/100th second accuracy and a 24-hour capacity. Press "Forward" to start/stop and "Reverse" to reset.

Backlight (Full Auto EL)

The watch features an Electro-Luminescent backlight for illumination in low light conditions. The Full Auto EL function automatically illuminates the display when the watch is tilted towards your face in dim light. This feature can be enabled or disabled in the settings.
