1. Introducció

5. Configuració

5.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit (refer to Figure 4.4).
2. Feu lliscar la tapa en la direcció indicada per la fletxa per obrir-la.
3. Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back until it clicks into place.

5.2 Microcassette Loading

1. Premeu el botó PARAR/EXPULTAR button (refer to Figure 4.2) to open the microcassette compartment door.
2. Insert a microcassette tape with the open side facing the recording head and the full reel on the left.
3. Gently close the compartment door until it latches securely.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Enregistrament

• Gravació normal: Premeu el botó REGISTRAR button. The Record/Play LED indicator will illuminate. Speak clearly into the built-in microphone. To stop recording, press the PARAR/EXPULTAR botó.
• Enregistrament operat per veu (VOR): To activate VOR, slide the VOR switch (if present, typically on the side) to the ON position. The recorder will automatically start recording when sound is detected and pause when silence occurs, saving tape. Press PARAR/EXPULTAR to end VOR mode.
• Configuració del micròfon: Some models feature a Hi/Lo microphone sensitivity switch. Use 'Hi' for distant sounds or quiet environments, and 'Lo' for close-up recording or noisy environments.

6.2 Reproducció

• Reproducció d'una cinta: Premeu el botó JUGAR button. The Record/Play LED indicator will illuminate.
• Control de volum: Adjust the volume dial (refer to Figure 4.2) to your desired listening level.
• Fast Play: Premeu el botó FAST PLAY button (if available) during playback to increase the playback speed.

• Comptador de cinta: The mechanical tape counter helps you locate specific sections on the tape. Reset it to '000' at the beginning of a new recording or playback session.
• Audible Cue Mark: Premeu el botó ÍNDEX button during recording or playback to place an audible cue mark on the tape. This allows for quick location of important sections during review.
• Conector de micròfon extern: Connect an external microphone to the MIC jack (refer to Figure 4.3) for enhanced recording flexibility.
• Entrada DC 3V: Use an optional AC adapter (not included) with a 3V DC output connected to the DC 3V input jack (refer to Figure 4.3) for continuous power without relying on batteries.

7. Manteniment

• Neteja: Periodically clean the recording/playback head, pinch roller, and capstan with a cotton swab lightly dampened with head cleaner fluid. Do this after every 10-12 hours of use to ensure optimal sound quality.
