Muntatge i preparació

1. Ventilació: Ensure adequate ventilation in the work area due to flammable vapors. Use in a well-ventilated area or with local exhaust ventilation.
2. Preparació de la superfície: Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, dust, and other contaminants. For best results, abrade smooth surfaces lightly.
3. Equips de protecció individual (EPI): Wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and chemical-resistant gloves, to prevent skin and eye contact.
4. Temperatura: Apply adhesive at room temperature (typically 65-80°F / 18-27°C) for optimal performance.

Funcionament i aplicació

1. Dispensació: Puncture the seal of the tube (if present) and attach the nozzle.
2. Aplicació: Apply a thin, uniform coat of adhesive to tots dos surfaces to be bonded. Ensure complete coverage, especially at edges.
3. Horari d'obertura: Allow the adhesive to dry for approximately 2-5 minutes, or until it becomes tacky to the touch but does not transfer to a knuckle. This is within the 12-minute working time.
4. Vinculació: Carefully align the two surfaces and press them firmly together. Apply uniform pressure across the entire bonded area.
5. Curat: The adhesive will achieve handling strength quickly, but full cure time is approximately 24 hours. Avoid stressing the bond during this period.

• Eines de neteja: Clean tools and excess adhesive immediately after use with an appropriate solvent (e.g., methyl ethyl ketone or toluene), following solvent manufacturer's safety instructions.

Ensure surfaces were properly cleaned and dried. Verify that sufficient pressure was applied during bonding. Check if the adhesive was allowed adequate open time to become tacky before joining surfaces.

Adhesive Not Curing:

Confirm that the application temperature was within the recommended range. Allow the full 24-hour cure time before evaluating final bond strength.

Excessive Odor:

Ensure the work area is adequately ventilated. If odor persists or is strong, evacuate the area and improve ventilation before resuming work.
