Configuració i primer ús

1. Desempaquetar la màquina: Remove all packaging materials and place the machine on a stable, flat surface.
2. Rinse the Water Tank: Wash the water tank with fresh drinking water before filling.
3. Ompliu el dipòsit d’aigua: Ompliu el dipòsit d'aigua amb aigua potable fresca i torneu-lo a col·locar a la màquina.
4. Connectar: Connecteu el cable d'alimentació a una presa de corrent elèctrica amb terra.
5. Activar: Press either the Espresso or Lungo button to turn on the machine. The buttons will blink while the machine preheats (approximately 25 seconds). They will glow steadily when ready.
6. Cicle d'esbandida inicial: Place a container (at least 1 liter) under the coffee outlet. Press the Lungo button three times to flush the system with water. This primes the pump and cleans the internal components.

Instruccions de funcionament

Elaboració de cafè

1. Ensure Water Tank is Full: Check that the water tank contains sufficient fresh water.
2. Enceneu la màquina: Press either the Espresso or Lungo button. Wait for the buttons to stop blinking and glow steadily.
3. Col·loca la copa: Position a cup under the coffee outlet. The pivoting cup tray can be adjusted for different cup sizes.
4. Inserir càpsula: Lift the capsule insertion lever completely, insert a Nespresso capsule, and close the lever firmly.
5. Selecciona el volum del cafè:
   • Premeu el botó Botó espresso for a small cup (approx. 40 ml / 1.35 oz).
   • Premeu el botó Botó Lungo for a larger cup (approx. 110 ml / 3.7 oz).
   La màquina s'aturarà automàticament quan s'assoleixi el volum seleccionat.
6. Expulsar la càpsula: After brewing, lift and close the lever to eject the used capsule into the internal container.

Programming Coffee Volume

You can customize the volume for the Espresso and Lungo buttons:

1. Turn on the machine and wait for it to preheat.
2. Inseriu una càpsula de Nespresso.
3. Press and hold the button you wish to program (Espresso or Lungo).
4. Release the button when the desired volume of coffee has been dispensed into your cup. The machine will remember this setting for future use.

The machine features an energy-saving function and will automatically turn off after 9 minutes of inactivity.

Neteja diària

• Empty and Clean Drip Tray & Used Capsule Container: After each use, or when full, remove and empty the drip tray and used capsule container. Wash them with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.

General Descaling Steps (always refer to Nespresso's official guide):

2. Fill the water tank with the Nespresso descaling solution mixed with water as per the solution's instructions.
3. Place a large container (at least 1 liter) under the coffee outlet.
4. Follow the specific descaling procedure for your Citiz model (often involves pressing and holding both coffee buttons for a few seconds to enter descaling mode).
5. Run the descaling solution through the machine.
