- Place the treadmill on a level surface with at least 6 feet of clear space behind it and 2 feet on each side.
- Ensure the safety key is properly attached to your clothing before beginning a workout. The safety key is designed to stop the treadmill immediately in an emergency.
- Do not operate the treadmill if it has a damaged power cord or plug, or if it has been dropped or damaged.
- Wear appropriate athletic footwear. Do not use the treadmill barefoot or in socks.
- Maintain a firm grip on the handrails when starting or stopping the treadmill, or if you feel unsteady.
- Be aware of the emergency stop button location. It is a large red button on the console. While designed for safety, accidental contact during arm swing can cause an abrupt stop. Position your arms to avoid unintentional activation.
- Do not attempt to adjust or service the treadmill while it is in use or plugged in.
- The treadmill is designed for continuous use, however, some pre-set programs may have duration limits. Be aware of your program settings to avoid unexpected stops.

Ending Your Workout
To stop your workout, press the "Stop" button on the console. The treadmill will gradually slow down and come to a complete stop. Remove the safety key to power off the unit.
