5. Configuració i instal·lació

5.2 Muntatge del cabrestant
- Position the winch on the mounting surface, aligning the winch's bolt pattern (4.5 inch x 10 inch) with the pre-drilled holes.
- Secure the winch using the provided mounting hardware (bolts, washers, nuts). Tighten all fasteners to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications.
- Install the hawse fairlead to the mounting surface, ensuring the rope can pass through freely without obstruction.

5.3 Connexions elèctriques
- Disconnect the vehicle's battery before making any electrical connections.
- Connect the winch's positive (+) cable to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the winch's negative (-) cable to a clean, unpainted chassis ground point or the negative terminal of the battery.
- Ensure all electrical connections are tight and protected from corrosion and abrasion.

6.1 Clutch Engagement and Disengagement

6.2 Using the Wired Remote Control
- Connect the wired remote control to the winch's control box.

6.3 Winching Procedures
- Identify a suitable anchor point (e.g., tree, rock, another vehicle) that can withstand the pulling force. Use a tree saver strap if anchoring to a tree.
- Disengage the clutch and pull out enough synthetic rope to reach the anchor point.
- Attach the clevis hook securely to the anchor point.

- Begin winching, observing the rope and load. Stop periodically to check for even spooling and any potential issues.

- Re-spool the rope neatly onto the drum, ensuring it is under slight tension to prevent tangles.
