3. Configuració

Instal·lació de la bateria:

The Rossmax TG100 Thermometer comes with a pre-installed LR44 battery. Before first use, ensure the battery compartment is securely closed. If the display does not turn on or shows a low battery indicator, replace the battery as described in the "Maintenance and Care" section.

Engegada inicial:

1. Press the power button (usually located near the display) to turn on the thermometer.
2. A short beep will sound, and the display will briefly show all segments, followed by the last measured temperature.
3. The device will then display "Lo" and a flashing "°C" or "°F", indicating it is ready for measurement.

Taking a Temperature Measurement:

1. Netegeu la sonda: Before and after each use, clean the thermometer probe with alcohol or soap and water.
2. Encès: Press the power button. The thermometer will display the last reading and then "Lo" with a flashing unit symbol.
3. Posicionament:
   • Ús oral: Place the probe tip under the tongue, as close to the heat pocket as possible. Keep the mouth closed.

4. Mesura: Keep the thermometer in position until a series of beeps indicates the measurement is complete (approximately 60 seconds). The display will show the peak temperature.

Cleaning the Thermometer:

• Wipe the probe tip with a soft cloth moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol or wash with cold soapy water.
• Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water or any cleaning solution.
• Allow the thermometer to air dry completely before storing.

Substitució de la bateria:

When the low battery symbol appears on the display, the battery needs to be replaced. The thermometer uses one LR44 (or equivalent) button cell battery.

1. Gently slide off the battery cover located at the end of the thermometer.
2. Carefully remove the old battery using a non-metallic tool.
3. Insert a new LR44 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
