This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sigma Sport BC8.12 ATS Wireless 8 Function Bicycle Computer. Designed for ease of use, this device offers essential cycling functions to enhance your riding experience.

Configuració

The Sigma Sport BC8.12 ATS features tool-free installation for quick and easy setup. Ensure all components are securely attached to your bicycle according to the included quick start guide.

For initial setup and configuration, including wheel size and unit settings, refer to the detailed instructions provided in the packaging. The set button, located on the back of the unit, is primarily used for these initial configurations.

The BC8.12 ATS features a large, easy-to-read display. The main mode button on the front of the device allows for straightforward navigation through its various functions. The top line of the display shows your current speed, the middle line describes the function in full text, and the bottom line displays the current value for that function.

Premeu el botó MODE button to cycle through the following functions:

• Velocitat: Displays your current riding speed.
• Distància del viatge: Mostra la distància recorreguda durant el trajecte actual.
• Temps de viatge: Fa un seguiment de la durada del teu trajecte actual.
• Velocitat mitjana: Calculates your average speed for the current trip.
• Velocitat màxima: Records the highest speed achieved during your current trip.
• Rellotge: Mostra l'hora actual.
• Distància total: Accumulates the total distance traveled across all rides.
• Total Ride Time: Accumulates the total time spent riding across all trips.

Resetting Trip Data

To reset the data for your current trip (Trip Distance, Ride Time, Average Speed, Maximum Speed), press and hold the MODE button until "All Reset" appears on the display. This action will clear the current trip data, allowing you to start a new recording.

Note: Total Distance and Total Ride Time values are not reset by this action and remain stored in the computer's memory.

Manteniment

To ensure the longevity and accurate performance of your Sigma Sport BC8.12 ATS, regular maintenance is recommended:

• Neteja: Netegeu la unitat amb un suau, damp drap. Eviteu productes de neteja o dissolvents abrasius.
• Substitució de la bateria: The unit uses standard batteries. Refer to the full user manual for specific battery types and replacement procedures.
• Impermeabilització: The device is designed to be waterproof (IP54 rated), but avoid submerging it in water. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed after replacement.

Resolució de problemes

If you encounter issues with your bicycle computer, consider the following common solutions:

• Sense pantalla/pantalla en blanc: Comproveu la bateria. Substituïu-la si cal.
• Lectures incorrectes de velocitat/distància: Verify the sensor and magnet alignment on your fork and wheel spoke. Ensure the wheel circumference setting is correct.
• Sense senyal sense fil: Check the distance between the computer and the speed sensor. Ensure there are no obstructions.
• Botons que no responen: Prova de reiniciar la unitat traient i tornant a inserir la bateria.
