Configuració i instal·lació

Follow these steps to set up your Galcon 11000 Series Hose Timer:

1. Instal·lació de la bateria:

   Remove the battery box from the unit. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated. Connect a new 9V battery (not included) to the terminals, ensuring correct polarity. Slide the battery box back into the unit until it is securely sealed. The display will show "12:00 PM" flashing, indicating it's ready for time setting.

2. Attaching to Hose Bib:

   Screw the timer onto any standard hose bib. Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks. On the outlet side, connect your irrigation system using a hose thread adapter. It is recommended to use an Anti-Siphon device (not included) with any hose-end products, and check with your local water purveyor for requirements.

The Galcon 11000 Series Hose Timer features a user-friendly interface with a large LCD screen and intuitive buttons for programming. The buttons include: Minus (-), Plus (+), Enter, Right Arrow, and Manual Operation.

   When the display shows "12:00 PM" flashing, press the Right Arrow button to make the hour flash. Use the Plus (+) or Minus (-) buttons to adjust the hour. Press the Right Arrow button again to make the minutes flash, then adjust using Plus (+) or Minus (-). Press the Right Arrow button to make the day of the week flash (indicated by a raindrop icon). Use Plus (+) or Minus (-) to select the current day. Press Enter to save the time and day settings.
2. Setting Watering Duration:

   After setting the time, press Enter again. The display will show "Duration" with a flashing value (e.g., "0:00"). Press the Right Arrow button to start editing. Use Plus (+) or Minus (-) to set the desired watering duration in minutes (from 1 minute to 12 hours). Press Enter to save the duration.

   After setting the duration, press Enter again. The display will show "Days" with "OFF" flashing. Press the Right Arrow button to make the day of the week flash (e.g., Sunday). Use Plus (+) or Minus (-) to select the days you want the timer to operate. A raindrop icon will appear under selected days. Press Enter to save the selected days.

4. Configuració de les hores d'inici:

   After setting the days, press Enter again. The display will show "Starts" with a flashing time (e.g., "OFF" or a default time). There are four available start times. Press the Right Arrow button to make the hour flash. Adjust using Plus (+) or Minus (-). Press Right Arrow to adjust minutes. Press Enter to save the start time. Repeat for up to four start times. If you do not wish to use all four, simply press Enter to skip to the next setting without changing the "OFF" status.

5. Funcionament manual:

   To manually turn on the water, press the Manual Operation button (the smiley face icon). The valve will open and run for the programmed duration (e.g., 20 minutes). To stop manual operation before the duration ends, press the Manual Operation button again. The valve will close, and the timer will return to its programmed schedule.

To protect the display from direct sunlight and rain, rotate the display panel downwards after programming to lock it away.

  The timer operates on one 9V battery. Replace the battery when the low battery indicator appears on the display or if the timer is not functioning as expected. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated when re-installing the battery box to maintain water resistance.

Resolució de problemes

If you encounter issues with your Galcon 11000 Series Hose Timer, consider the following:

  Check the 9V battery. Ensure it is new and correctly installed. Verify that the battery box is fully inserted and sealed.

• Water Not Flowing/Low Flow:

  Check the water pressure from your hose bib. The timer operates within a working pressure range of 1-10 bars. Ensure the built-in filter is not clogged and is clean. Verify that the timer is securely attached to the hose bib and that the valve is fully opening during manual operation.
• Timer Not Following Schedule:

  Re-check all programmed settings: current time, watering duration, selected watering days, and all four start times. Ensure no conflicting settings or "OFF" statuses are active for desired operations.

  Ensure all connections (to hose bib, and to irrigation system) are tight. Check the O-ring on the battery box for proper seating and any signs of damage. Replace if necessary.
