Introducció

The OREI HDS-102 HDMI Splitter is designed to duplicate a single HDMI input signal to two identical HDMI output signals. This device supports resolutions up to 4K at 30Hz, 1080p, 720p, and VGA to WUXGA. It is ideal for scenarios requiring the same content to be displayed on two screens simultaneously, such as presentations, digital signage, or home entertainment setups.

Please note that this device is a duplicator and will not extend displays for multiple monitors.

Instruccions de configuració

1. Connecteu la font HDMI: Connect your HDMI source device (e.g., computer, game console, Blu-ray player) to the "HDMI INPUT" port on the OREI HDS-102 splitter using a high-quality HDMI cable (recommended length 30 feet or shorter).
2. Connecteu pantalles HDMI: Connect your two HDMI displays (TVs, monitors) to the "HDMI OUTPUT 1" and "HDMI OUTPUT 2" ports on the splitter using high-quality HDMI cables.
3. Connecteu l'adaptador d'alimentació: Plug the included power adapter into the "DC 5V" power port on the splitter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
4. Dispositius d'encesa: Power on your HDMI source device and both connected displays. The splitter will automatically detect the signals and duplicate the display.

Important Note: This HDMI splitter is designed for duplicating displays only. It will not extend your desktop screen to create multiple independent monitors.

Instruccions de funcionament

Once all connections are made and devices are powered on, the OREI HDS-102 HDMI Splitter operates automatically. The input signal from your source device will be duplicated and sent to both connected displays.

• The splitter supports full video formats including 3D, 4K x 2K@30Hz, 1080P@30Hz, and 1080P@60Hz.
• Deep Color support: 4K@30Hz / 480i/ 576i/ 480p/ 576p/ 720p/ 1080i/ 1080p/ 1440i/ 1440p.
• EDID duration is approximately 6 seconds.

Gestió EDID

The device features an EDID switch (Copy/Auto-Power) to synchronize the input with your output monitors. In most cases, leaving it in the "Auto" position will work correctly. If you encounter display issues, consult the user manual for specific EDID settings.

Manteniment

The OREI HDS-102 HDMI Splitter requires minimal maintenance. Keep the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Resolució de problemes

• Sense senyal/Pantalla parpellejant:

  • Verify that the HDMI cables are of high quality and within the recommended length (30 feet or shorter).
  • Check if the power adapter is properly connected and the splitter is receiving power.
  • Confirm that your source device and displays are powered on and set to the correct HDMI input.
• Problemes de resolució:
  • The splitter will output the highest common resolution supported by both the source and the displays. If one display has a lower resolution, the output will default to that lower resolution.
  • Ensure your displays support the output resolution of the splitter (up to 4K@30Hz).
• Compatibilitat HDCP:
  • This splitter supports HDCP 1.4 but will NOT bypass HDCP. It does NOT support HDCP 2.0 & 2.2. If you are experiencing issues with protected content, verify your devices' HDCP versions.
• Not Extending Display:
  • This device is an HDMI duplicator, not an extender. It will only mirror the display from your source to two screens, not create independent extended desktops.
