4. Configuració

4.1 Bit Installation (SDS-MAX)

2. Clean the bit shank and apply a small amount of bit grease to the shank.
3. Pull back the tool holder cover and insert the SDS-MAX bit into the chuck. Rotate the bit slightly until it engages.
4. Release the tool holder cover. Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked in place.

5.1 Selecció del mode de funcionament

The HR4013C offers two operating modes:

• Només martell: For chipping, breaking, or demolition work.
• Martell perforador: For drilling into concrete or masonry with rotation and hammering action.

To select a mode, rotate the mode selector switch located on the top of the tool to the desired icon.

5.2 Control de velocitat variable

The tool features a variable speed control dial, allowing you to match the speed to the application. Adjust the dial from 1 (lowest speed) to 5 (highest speed) as needed.

5.3 Proper Drilling/Chipping Technique

1. Hold the tool firmly with both hands, maintaining good balance and safe footing.
2. Turn the tool on and apply enough pressure to prevent it from bouncing uncontrollably. Do not press excessively hard, as this will not increase efficiency.
3. Allow the tool to do the work. Do not force it.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

Regularly clean the tool to remove dust and debris. Use a soft cloth and avoid harsh chemicals.

6.2 Lubricació

Apply bit grease to the shank of the SDS-MAX bits before each use to ensure smooth operation and prolong bit life.

6.3 Indicadors LED

• LED Service Light: Notifies the user approximately 8 hours before the carbon brushes need to be replaced. Replace brushes promptly to maintain tool performance.
• LED Power Light: Indicates switch failure or cord damage. If this light illuminates, discontinue use and have the tool inspected by a qualified service technician.
