Introducció

The NOCO GC017 12V Adapter with Battery Clamps is designed to provide a convenient 12-volt power source directly from your vehicle's battery. This adapter allows you to power various 12-volt devices such as tire inflators, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, and fans. It features a robust design with a 20-amp micro-blade fuse for enhanced safety and a water-resistant cap to protect the female socket from environmental elements. Constructed with high-conductivity 14AWG 100-percent copper wire, it is rated for a capacity of 15 amperes.

Connecting with Battery Clamps

1. Ensure your vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories are disconnected.

Optional: Hard-Mounting with M6 Eyelets

For a more permanent connection, the included M6 eyelets can be used to hard-mount the adapter to your battery terminals. This is particularly useful for motorcycles, ATVs, or other applications where a semi-permanent 12V power port is desired.

1. Desconnecteu la bateria clamps from the adapter cable by unscrewing the terminal bolts using the provided 3mm hex wrench.
2. Attach the M6 eyelets to the adapter cable, ensuring the red eyelet connects to the red wire and the black eyelet to the black wire. Secure them with the terminal bolts.
3. Connect the red M6 eyelet to the positive battery terminal and the black M6 eyelet to the negative battery terminal. Ensure a tight and secure connection.
4. The 12V female socket is now available for use.

Instruccions de funcionament

Once the NOCO GC017 adapter is securely connected to your 12V battery, you can power compatible devices.

1. Ensure the 12-volt device you intend to use is compatible with a standard cigarette lighter style female socket and does not exceed the 15-ampere current rating of the GC017.
2. Remove the water-resistant cap from the female socket.
3. Insert the male plug of your 12-volt device firmly into the GC017's female socket.
4. Operate your device according to its own instructions.
5. When finished, disconnect your device and replace the water-resistant cap to protect the socket from moisture and debris.

Manteniment

• Neteja: Periodically clean the battery clamps and the female socket with a dry cloth to remove any dirt or corrosion. Ensure the adapter is disconnected from the battery before cleaning.
• Emmagatzematge: When not in use, store the GC017 adapter in a clean, dry environment. Ensure the water-resistant cap is securely in place over the female socket.
• Inspecció: Regularly inspect the cable for any signs of damage, cuts, or fraying. Check the clamps and eyelets for secure connections and any signs of wear. Do not use if damaged.

Substitució de fusibles

The GC017 features an integrated 20-amp micro-blade fuse for protection. If the adapter stops providing power, the fuse may have blown.

1. Disconnect the GC017 from the battery.
2. Locate the fuse holder along the red wire.
3. Open the fuse holder and carefully remove the old fuse.
