Controls i funcions:

• VOL MIN/OFF/VOL MAX Knob: Turn to switch the radio on/off and adjust the volume.
• TUNING/SCAN Knob: Rotate to manually tune to a station. Press to initiate auto-scan for available stations. Press again to stop scanning.
• AM/FM/WX Button: Press to cycle through AM, FM, and Weather (WX) bands.

5. Configuració

5.1 Engegar la ràdio

Your radio can be powered by either the integrated AC power cord or by batteries.

Funcionament amb alimentació de CA:

1. Ensure the radio is switched OFF by turning the VOL knob counter-clockwise until it clicks.
2. Unwind the integrated AC power cord from the back of the unit.

For portable use, the radio requires 4 C-size batteries (not included).

2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio (refer to Figure 4.2).

4. Insert 4 C-size batteries, matching the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.

Nota: When the AC power cord is connected, the radio will automatically draw power from the AC source, even if batteries are installed. Remove batteries if the radio will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Activació/desactivació i control de volum

1. Per encendre la ràdio, gireu VOL MIN/OFF/VOL MAX knob clockwise past the 'OFF' position. The display will illuminate.
2. Continue rotating the knob clockwise to increase the volume, or counter-clockwise to decrease it.
3. Per apagar la ràdio, gireu el botó VOL knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position.

6.2 Selecting a Band (AM/FM/WX)

Premeu el botó AM/FM/WX button repeatedly to cycle through the available bands: AM, FM, and Weather (WX).

6.3 Sintonització d'emissores

Sintonització manual:

Gira el TUNING/SCAN knob clockwise or counter-clockwise to manually adjust the frequency. The frequency will be displayed on the digital screen.

Sintonització d'escaneig automàtic:

Premeu el botó TUNING/SCAN knob once. The radio will automatically scan for the next available strong station and stop when found. To stop scanning manually, press the TUNING/SCAN pom de nou.

6.4 Configuració i recuperació de preajustos

The radio can store up to 25 preset stations (10 for AM, 10 for FM, 5 for WX).

1. Tune to the desired station using manual or auto scan tuning.
2. Premeu el botó MEMÒRIA button. The preset number on the display will flash.
3. Within a few seconds, press one of the Preset Number buttons (1-5) to save the station to that preset slot. To save to presets 6-25, press the MAJÚS button followed by a Preset Number button.
4. The display will confirm the preset has been saved.

6.5 Augment de baix

Premeu el botó BASS button to enhance the low-frequency audio output. Press it again to turn off the bass boost.

6.6 Temporitzador de repòs

• Auriculars Jack: Plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack for private listening. The internal speaker will be muted.
• AUX IN: Connect an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable. Select the AUX input mode (if available, or ensure no radio band is selected) and play audio from your external device through the radio's speaker.

7.1 Neteja

To clean the radio, wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
