Configuració
1. Instal·lació de la bateria
- Remove the back cover of the sensor by gently prying it open or sliding it off, depending on the model.
- Insert the included CR123 lithium battery, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place. The sensor's LED may flash briefly to indicate power.

To integrate the sensor into your Z-Wave network, follow these steps:
- Place your Z-Wave hub into inclusion (pairing) mode. Refer to your hub's instruction manual for specific steps.
- With the sensor powered on, press the tamper switch (located inside the sensor, often a small button or lever) once. The sensor's LED will flash to indicate it is attempting to pair.
- If inclusion is successful, the LED will stop flashing, and your Z-Wave hub should confirm the new device.
- If inclusion fails, the LED may flash rapidly or remain off. Try repeating the process or performing an exclusion first.

To remove the sensor from your Z-Wave network:
- Place your Z-Wave hub into exclusion (unpairing) mode. Refer to your hub's instruction manual for specific steps.

4. Muntatge del sensor

External Contact Input
The sensor includes an external contact input. This allows you to connect a separate wired normally-closed (NC) or normally-open (NO) contact sensor (e.g., a magnetic reed switch) to the tilt sensor. When the external contact changes state, the tilt sensor will report this status to your Z-Wave hub. This feature can be used for monitoring a secondary point or for applications where a tilt sensor is not suitable.
- To use the external input, connect the two wires from your external contact sensor to the designated terminals inside the Ecolink Tilt Sensor.

The Ecolink Z-Wave Tilt Sensor uses one CR123 lithium battery. When the battery level is low, your Z-Wave hub should report a low battery warning. To replace the battery:
- Remove the sensor from its mounting bracket or detach it from the adhesive.
- Open the back cover of the sensor.
