4. Instruccions d'aplicació

Follow these steps for effective application of 3M 4910 VHB Tape:

5. Aplicar pressió: Apply firm and uniform pressure to the bonded assembly. This is critical for achieving good wet-out (contact between adhesive and surface) and maximizing bond strength. A roller or squeegee can be used for this purpose.
6. Temps de curació: The bond strength will increase over time. Approximately 50% of the ultimate bond strength is achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours, and 100% after 72 hours (at 70°F / 21°C).

Nota important: For optimal performance, ensure the tape is applied with sufficient pressure to allow the adhesive to flow and make full contact with the bonding surfaces. The viscoelastic nature of the tape means it requires time to fully bond and achieve maximum strength.

• Cleaning Bonded Areas: If cleaning the bonded assembly, use mild, non-abrasive cleaners that will not degrade the substrates or the tape.
• Emmagatzematge: Store unused tape in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain its adhesive properties.
