5. Configuració

5.1. Carregant la bateria

1. Connect the Charger AL 2450 DV to a suitable power outlet.
2. Insert the 14.4V NiMH battery pack into the charger.
3. Allow approximately 60 minutes for a full charge. The charger's indicator light will signal when charging is complete.

5.2. Inserting the Battery Pack

1. Ensure the drill/driver is switched off.
2. Slide the charged battery pack into the base of the tool until it clicks securely into place.

5.3. Attaching Accessories (Drill Bits/Screwdriver Bits)

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1. Encès / apagat

To power on the tool, press the trigger switch. The tool will start operating. To power off, release the trigger switch.

6.2. Selecció de la velocitat

The GSR 14.4-2 features a 2-speed gearbox:

• Gear 1 (0-400 RPM): For high torque applications, such as driving large screws or drilling large diameter holes.
• Gear 2 (0-1400 RPM): For high-speed drilling in smaller diameters or light screwdriving.

Use the speed selector switch located on top of the tool to choose between Gear 1 and Gear 2. Change speeds only when the tool is stationary.

The tool offers 20 torque settings plus a drill setting. Rotate the torque adjustment ring behind the chuck to select the desired setting. The forward/reverse switch, located above the trigger, controls the direction of rotation. Position the switch in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental startup.

6.5. Drilling and Screwdriving

For drilling, select the drill symbol on the torque ring. For screwdriving, select an appropriate torque setting. Apply steady, even pressure. The maximum drilling capacity is 35 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel. The maximum screw diameter is 8 mm.

7. Manteniment

7.1. Neteja

Regularly clean the ventilation slots of the power tool to prevent overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris. Do not use water or chemical cleaning agents.
