Configuració
- Desembalatge: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the coffee maker and its accessories. Retain packaging for storage or future transport if needed.
- Neteja inicial: Before first use, wash the carafe, lid, and filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp tela.
- Col·locació: Place the coffee maker on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not place it on a hot surface or near a hot gas or electric burner.
- Primer cicle d'elaboració (netja): Fill the water reservoir with cold water up to the 10-cup mark. Place the empty filter basket with a paper filter (or reusable filter if included) into position. Do not add coffee grounds. Close the lid. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF switch to start a brewing cycle. Allow the full cycle to complete. Discard the water from the carafe. Repeat this process once or twice to ensure the unit is clean.

Neteja diària

Descaling (Decalcification)
Mineral deposits (lime scale) from water can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting its performance and the taste of your coffee. Descaling should be performed regularly, depending on the hardness of your water and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-4 weeks).
- Preparació de la solució: Mix 4 cups of white vinegar with 6 cups of cold water. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution designed for coffee makers, following the product's instructions.
- Cicle d'execució: Pour the descaling solution into the water reservoir. Place an empty paper filter (or reusable filter) in the filter basket and position the empty carafe on the warming plate. Turn on the coffee maker and allow half of the solution to brew through.
- Remullar: Turn off the coffee maker and let it stand for 15-20 minutes to allow the solution to work on the deposits.
- Cicle complet: Turn the coffee maker back on and allow the remaining solution to brew through. Discard the solution from the carafe.
- Cicles d'esbandida: Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and run two full brewing cycles with only water to rinse out any remaining descaling solution. Discard the water after each cycle.
Your coffee maker is now descaled and ready for use.
