Configuració
1. Filling with Butane Gas
The Dremel VersaTip does not come pre-filled with butane gas. You will need to purchase high-quality butane separately. Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area, away from any ignition sources.
- Turn the flame control knob to the "OFF" position.
- Invert the VersaTip and firmly press the butane gas canister nozzle into the filling valve located at the base of the tool.
- Hold for approximately 10-15 seconds, or until the gas begins to escape from the filling valve, indicating it is full.
- Wait a few minutes after filling before ignition to allow the gas to stabilize.
2. Attaching Tips and Accessories
The VersaTip features interchangeable tips for various applications. Ensure the tool is cool before changing any accessories.
- Select the desired tip (e.g., soldering tip, hot knife, flat wide flame head).
- Carefully screw the tip onto the metal nozzle of the VersaTip until secure. Do not overtighten.
- For some applications, such as the hot blower head, a reflector may also be attached to direct heat.

1. Ignition and Flame Adjustment
- Ensure a tip is securely attached and the tool is filled with butane.
- Slide the safety lock to the "UNLOCKED" position.
- Press the ignition trigger to ignite the flame. If it does not ignite on the first attempt, release and try again.
- Adjust the flame size and temperature using the flame control knob. Turn clockwise for a larger flame/higher temperature, and counter-clockwise for a smaller flame/lower temperature.
- For continuous operation, engage the flame lock by sliding it forward after ignition. To disengage, slide it back.
