1. Introducció
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Bixolon SRP-350IIICOSG Thermal Receipt Printer. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the printer and retain it for future reference. This printer is designed for point-of-sale (POS) receipt printing applications.
2. Informació de seguretat
- Font d'alimentació: Use only the power supply provided with the printer. Using an incorrect power supply may damage the printer and void the warranty.

4. Configuració
4.1 Desembalatge i col·locació
Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Place the printer on a flat, stable surface near your computer or POS system.
4.2 Connexió de la font d'alimentació

- Plug the power supply connector into the power port on the back of the printer.

4.3 Connexió dels cables de dades
The SRP-350IIICOSG printer supports Serial and USB interfaces.

- Connexió USB: Connect one end of a USB cable (Type B) to the USB port on the printer and the other end to an available USB port on your computer or POS system.
- Connexió en sèrie: Connect one end of a serial cable (DB9) to the serial port on the printer and the other end to an available serial port on your computer or POS system.
4.4 Loading the Paper Roll
- Open the printer cover by pushing the cover open lever.
- Insert the new paper roll into the paper compartment with the paper feeding from the bottom.
- Estireu una petita quantitat de paper per treure-la del tallador.
- Tanqueu la coberta de la impressora fermament fins que encaixi al seu lloc.

4.5 Instal·lació del controlador
Before using the printer, you must install the appropriate drivers on your computer or POS system. Drivers are typically available on the Bixolon official website. Follow the instructions provided with the driver package for installation.
5. Funcionament de la impressora
5.1 Engegada/apagada
To power on the printer, press the power switch located on the side or back of the printer to the 'ON' position. To power off, press the switch to the 'OFF' position.
5.2 Indicadors d'estat
The printer features LED indicators to show its current status:
- LED d'alimentació: S'il·lumina quan la impressora està engegada.
- LED d'error: Flashes or illuminates to indicate an error condition (e.g., paper out, cover open, cutter error). Refer to the troubleshooting section for details.
- Paper LED: S'il·lumina quan el rotlle de paper és baix o s'ha acabat.
5.3 Imprimir una pàgina de prova
To print a self-test page:
- Ensure the printer is powered off and paper is loaded.
- Hold down the FEED button.
- While holding the FEED button, turn on the printer.
- Release the FEED button once the printer starts printing.
The printer will print a test page showing its current settings and status.
6. Manteniment
6.1 Neteja del capçal d'impressió
Regular cleaning of the print head ensures optimal print quality and extends printer life. Clean the print head using an alcohol swab or a specialized print head cleaning pen.
- Apagueu la impressora i desconnecteu el cable d'alimentació.
- Obriu la coberta de la impressora.
- Gently wipe the thermal elements of the print head with the cleaning tool.
- Deixeu que el capçal d'impressió s'assequi completament abans de tancar la coberta i tornar a connectar l'alimentació.
6.2 Substitució del rotlle de paper
When the paper roll is depleted, the paper out LED will illuminate. Follow the steps in Section 4.4 to replace the paper roll.
6.3 Cleaning the Auto Cutter
If the auto cutter experiences frequent jams or malfunctions, it may require cleaning. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove paper dust and debris from the cutter mechanism.
