The IK Multimedia iRig Pads is an ultra-portable MIDI pad controller and groove production station designed for use with iOS devices, Mac, and PC. • 16 Velocity-Sensitive Backlit Rubber Pads: These pads are the core of the iRig Pads. They respond to how hard you hit them (velocity-sensitive) and light up in three different colors, indicating the velocity or in response to incoming MIDI messages. Use them to trigger drums, samples, loops, and play virtual instruments.
• MIDI Knobs (x2), Slider (x1), and Pushbutton Rotary Encoder (x1): These controls are fully programmable. They can be assigned to control various parameters within your music software, such as volume, effects, filter cutoff, or any other MIDI-assignable function.
