Preparació i Configuració
Proper surface preparation is crucial for optimal adhesion and durability of SEM Color Coat. Follow these steps carefully:

- For Vinyl: Use SEM Soap (Part No. 39362) followed by Vinyl Prep (Part No. 38343) or Zero VOC Surface Cleaner (Part No. 40404).
- For Plastic: Apply an appropriate adhesion promoter. Do not use more than one product on the same job. Recommended products include Plastic Adhesion Promoter (Part No. 38363) or XXX Adhesion Promoter (Part No. 7723).
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any contaminants like grease, oil, or silicone before application.

Once the surface is prepared, proceed with the application of SEM Color Coat:
- Agitar la llauna: Shake the aerosol can thoroughly for at least one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Continue shaking periodically during application.
- Application Distance: Hold the can approximately 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) from the surface to be coated.
- Apply Light Coats: Apply multiple light, even coats. Avoid applying heavy coats to prevent runs or uneven coverage.
- Drying Time Between Coats: Allow 5-10 minutes of drying time between each coat. Apply additional coats until the desired hiding and color depth are achieved.

Manteniment
Once applied and fully cured, SEM Color Coat is a durable and fade-resistant finish. To maintain its appearance, clean the coated surface with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh abrasives or strong chemical cleaners, as these may damage the coating.
