1. Introducció

The D-Link AC1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender (DAP-1620) is designed to extend the coverage of your existing wireless network. 6. Once setup is complete, unplug the DAP-1620 and move it to your desired location. Verify the Signal Strength LEDs for optimal placement.

To use the DAP-1620 as an Access Point, connect it to your router using an Ethernet cable via the LAN port. In this mode, the DAP-1620 creates a new Wi-Fi network, converting a wired connection into a wireless one. This is useful for areas with existing Ethernet wiring but no Wi-Fi coverage.
