Configuració
1. Desembalatge i inspecció
Carefully unpack the VP-1608 and inspect for any signs of damage during transit. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Muntatge en bastidor (opcional)
The VP-1608 is designed for standard 19-inch rack mounting. Secure the unit using appropriate rack screws, ensuring adequate ventilation around the device.
3. Connecting Video Signals
Connect your RGBHV video sources to the ENTRADES BNC connectors on the rear panel. Each input requires five BNC cables (R, G, B, H, V). Connect your display devices or other video equipment to the SORTIDES BNC connectors.
- Ensure all BNC connections are secure.
- Match the R, G, B, H, V signals from source to input.
4. Connecting Audio Signals
Connect your balanced stereo audio sources to the detachable terminal blocks labeled ENTRADES D'ÀUDIO. Similarly, connect your audio receivers or amplificadors a la SORTIDES D'ÀUDIO blocs de terminals.
- Observe correct polarity for balanced audio connections.
- Ensure terminal blocks are securely seated after wiring.
5. Connecting Control (Optional)

Instruccions de funcionament
1. Encès / apagat
Premeu el botó PODER switch on the front panel to turn the unit ON or OFF. The power indicator will illuminate when the unit is on.
2. Basic Switching Operation
The VP-1608 uses a matrix switching method where you select an output first, then an input.
- Select Output: Premeu un dels fitxers SORTIDA buttons (1-8) to select the desired output channel. The corresponding output LED will light up.

- Botó TOT: Prement TOTS followed by an input button will route that input to all outputs simultaneously.
- Botó OFF: Prement OFF followed by an output button will disconnect the input from that specific output.
- VIDEO/AUDIO/AFV Buttons: These buttons allow you to select whether to switch video only, audio only, or audio-follow-video (AFV).
- STO (Store) / RCL (Recall) Buttons: Use these buttons to store and recall predefined switching configurations. Refer to the full manual for detailed programming instructions.
- Botó BLOC: Engages or disengages the front panel lock to prevent accidental changes.
