Introducció
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Corsair Carbide Series 100R Mid Tower Case. Please read this guide thoroughly before beginning your PC build to ensure proper assembly and functionality. This case is designed to accommodate ATX, Micro ATX, and Mini ATX motherboards.

Guia d'instal·lació
1. Preparació del cas
- Col·loqueu la caixa sobre una superfície plana i estable.
- Unscrew the two thumbscrews on the rear of the left side panel (windowed side) and carefully slide the panel backward, then lift it off.
- Repeat for the right side panel (non-windowed side).

2. Instal·lació de la placa base
- Install your motherboard's I/O shield into the cutout at the rear of the case. Ensure it snaps securely into place.
- Verify that the motherboard standoffs are correctly aligned for your motherboard's form factor (ATX, Micro ATX, or Mini ATX). Adjust or add standoffs from the accessory kit as needed.

- Secure the motherboard with the provided screws. Do not overtighten.
3. Instal·lació de la font d'alimentació
- Position your power supply unit (PSU) at the bottom rear of the case, ensuring the fan faces downwards (if your PSU has a bottom fan and the case has a filtered intake) or upwards.
- Secure the PSU to the case using the four screws provided with your PSU.
4. Instal·lació de la unitat
The Carbide Series 100R features tool-free installation for 5.25-inch and 3.5-inch drives, and screw-in support for 2.5-inch SSDs.

4.1. 5.25-inch Optical Drives
- Remove the desired 5.25-inch front panel cover by pushing the clips from the inside of the case.
- Slide your optical drive into the bay from the front until it clicks into place. The tool-free locking mechanism will secure it.
4.2. 3.5-inch Hard Drives
- Gently pull out a 3.5-inch drive tray from the drive cage.
- Flex the tray and insert your 3.5-inch hard drive into the tray until the pins align with the screw holes on the drive.
- Slide the loaded tray back into the drive cage until it locks.
4.3. 2.5-inch SSDs
- Gently pull out a 3.5-inch drive tray from the drive cage.
- Place your 2.5-inch SSD onto the tray and secure it from the bottom of the tray using the small screws from the accessory kit.
- Slide the loaded tray back into the drive cage until it locks.
5. Instal·lació de la targeta d'expansió
- Traieu les cobertes de les ranures PCI-E necessàries de la part posterior de la carcassa.
- Insert your expansion card (e.g., graphics card) into the appropriate PCI-E slot on your motherboard.
- Secure the expansion card with the provided screws.

6. Connexions del panell frontal
Connect the front panel cables (USB 3.0, Audio, Power, Reset, HDD LED, Power LED) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for exact header locations.

7. Gestió de cables
Utilize the cable routing channels and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray to organize and hide cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics.

8. Instal·lació del ventilador
The case supports multiple fan configurations for optimal cooling:
- Davant: Two 120mm fans (one pre-installed 120mm fan is included).
- posterior: One 120mm fan (pre-installed).
- A dalt: Two 120mm fans.
Ensure fans are oriented correctly for intake or exhaust to create efficient airflow.

Funcionament de la caixa del vostre PC
Once all components are installed and connected, replace both side panels. Ensure the thumbscrews are tightened. The case is designed for optimal airflow with proper fan configuration. Monitor component temperatures, especially during demanding tasks, to ensure stable operation.

Manteniment
Regular maintenance helps prolong the life of your components and maintains optimal performance.
- Filtres de pols: The Carbide Series 100R includes a removable dust filter at the bottom for the power supply intake. Regularly slide out and clean this filter to prevent dust buildup.
- Neteja interior: Periodically open the case and use compressed air to remove dust from fans, heatsinks, and other components.

Resolució de problemes
- L'ordinador no s'encén: Double-check all power connections, including the 24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, and GPU power cables. Ensure the PSU switch is in the 'ON' position. Verify front panel power switch connection to the motherboard.
- Soroll excessiu: Check if all fans are securely mounted and free from obstructions. Ensure cables are not interfering with fan blades.
- Flux d'aire deficient/Temperatures altes: Confirm fan orientation (intake/exhaust) is correct. Clean dust filters and internal components. Ensure no cables are blocking airflow paths.
- Dificultat amb la gestió de cables: Utilize the routing channels and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray. Consider a modular power supply to reduce unused cables.
