Introducció

The Fostex 6301-Series active monitor speakers have been a standard in broadcast and production facilities since 1982. The 6301NE model features a 4-inch full-range driver for clear audio reproduction and a 20-watt Class D digital amplifier, offering higher output levels with reduced power consumption. Its robust design includes flat-surface controls to prevent accidental adjustments and a durable aluminum die-cast enclosure. The 6301NE also incorporates an auto stand-by mode for energy efficiency and a detachable IEC type power inlet with multi-voltagCompatibilitat (120-240V).

Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove the monitor from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.
2. Col·locació: Position the monitor on a stable, flat surface. For optimal sound, place it at ear level and equidistant from your listening position. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for ventilation.
3. Connexió d'àudio:
   • Entrada balancejada (XLR): For professional audio equipment, connect an XLR cable from your audio source (e.g., audio interface, mixer) to the XLR input on the rear of the 6301NE.
   • Unbalanced Input (1/4" Phone Jack): For consumer audio equipment, connect a 1/4" TS (Tip-Sleeve) cable from your audio source to the 1/4" input on the rear of the 6301NE.

   Note: When using the 1/4" input, the XLR input is non-functional. Do not attempt to use both simultaneously.

4. Connexió d'alimentació: Insert the provided power cord into the IEC power inlet on the rear of the monitor. Connect the other end of the power cord to a suitable AC power outlet (120-240V).
5. Encesa inicial: Before turning on the monitor, ensure the VOLUME knob on the front panel is set to its minimum (0) position.

1. Encès/apagat: Press the POWER ON/OFF button located on the front panel to turn the unit on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the unit is on.
2. Ajust de volum: Rotate the VOLUME knob clockwise to increase the output level and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust the volume to a comfortable listening level.
3. Auto Stand-by Mode: The 6301NE features an auto stand-by mode to conserve energy. If no audio signal is detected for a period, the unit will automatically enter a low-power stand-by state. It will automatically resume normal operation when an audio signal is detected again.

Manteniment

• Neteja: Regularly wipe the exterior of the monitor with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
• Ventilació: Ensure that the ventilation slots are free from dust and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air to gently clear any blockages.
• Emmagatzematge: Si guardeu la unitat durant un període prolongat, desconnecteu-la de l'alimentació i guardeu-la en un lloc fresc i sec, preferiblement en el seu embalatge original.
