4. Muntatge

Assembly of the Chicco U/Go Trike is straightforward. Follow these general steps:

2. Attach Front Wheel and Handlebars: Securely attach the front wheel assembly to the main frame. Then, insert the handlebars into the designated slot and ensure they are firmly locked in place.

4. Mount Seat and Pedals: Fix the seat onto the frame. Attach the pedals to the front wheel crank arms.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The Chicco U/Go Trike offers two versatile modes to adapt to your child's development:

5.1 Push 'n' Go Mode (Parent-Controlled)

This mode is ideal for younger children (from 18 months) who are not yet ready to pedal independently. The telescopic handle allows parents to push and steer the trike.

• Engage Steering Lock: Locate the steering lock mechanism (usually near the front wheel or handlebars) and engage it to prevent the child from steering independently. This allows the parent to control direction via the handle.
• Engage Free Wheel System: Activate the free wheel system on the front wheel. This prevents the pedals from rotating when the trike is pushed, allowing the child to rest their feet without the pedals spinning.
• Adjust Parent Handle: Extend the telescopic parent handle to a comfortable height for pushing.

5.2 Free Pedalling Mode (Child-Controlled)

• Remove Parent Handle: Detach the telescopic parent handle from the trike.
• Disengage Steering Lock: Release the steering lock to allow the child to steer the handlebars freely.
• Disengage Free Wheel System: Deactivate the free wheel system so that the pedals engage with the front wheel, allowing the child to pedal and propel the trike.
• Secure Child: Always ensure the safety belt is fastened, even when the child is pedalling independently.
