EdgeStar BR2001SS Refrigerator for Kegerator Conversion

The EdgeStar BR2001SS is an ultra-low temperature stainless steel refrigerator specifically designed for conversion into a kegerator. This unit provides efficient cooling for beverages, maintaining temperatures from the low 30s to the mid 40s Fahrenheit. It features a durable stainless steel door and ample capacity to store up to a half-shell Sankey standard keg. Included casters ensure easy mobility, allowing for flexible placement. Please note that this unit is not compatible with Coors or Miller rubberized kegs or other oversized kegs.

3. Configuració

3.1 Desembalatge

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Retain packaging for future transport or storage. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damage is found, contact your retailer immediately.

3.2 Col·locació

Place the unit on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit. Allow at least 5 inches of space between the back and sides of the unit and any adjacent walls to ensure proper ventilation.

3.3 Connexió elèctrica

Connect the appliance to a dedicated, grounded 115V/60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Ensure the electrical supply matches the requirements listed on the appliance's rating label.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Control de temperatura

The refrigerator's temperature is controlled by a dial located inside the unit. Turn the dial to adjust the cooling level. Lower numbers indicate warmer temperatures, while higher numbers indicate colder temperatures. For optimal beverage cooling, set the dial to achieve temperatures in the low 30s to mid 40s Fahrenheit.

4.2 Keg Installation (for Kegerator Conversion)

This unit is designed to accommodate up to a full-sized, half-shell Sankey standard keg. To convert to a kegerator, you will need to install your own kegerator hardware and components (not included). The unit features a pre-cut tower hole for easy integration of a draft tower. Ensure proper sealing and connection of all components to prevent leaks and maintain optimal pressure.

4.3 Using as a Refrigerator Only

If you wish to use the BR2001SS solely as a refrigerator, ensure the included tower hole cap is securely in place. The unit comes with wire rack shelving for organizing beverages or other items. The protective floor plate adds durability for various uses.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja

Regular cleaning helps maintain the efficiency and appearance of your refrigerator. Unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a soft cloth with a mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior and exterior surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the stainless steel door, use a stainless steel cleaner to prevent streaks and maintain its luster.
