The GemOro AuRACLE PRO Gold and Platinum Tester is an ideal tool for accurately detecting the quality of gold and platinum jewelry. It is equipped with an alphanumeric LCD display that shows both karat value and average gold percentage. This tester offers exceptional accuracy in testing all colors of gold from 6k - 24k, and also tests platinum. Its ergonomic design and easy-to-use features make it a go-to choice for quick, convenient, and precise precious metal content determination.

Configuració

Encès

The GemOro AuRACLE PRO can be powered using either the provided Power Adapter or a 9V battery (not included). Connect the chosen power source to the designated port on the device.

Connecting the Pen Probe

Plug the saline-based pen probe into the tester's designated port. Ensure a secure connection before operation.

Calibració

Calibration is crucial for accurate readings. The newly upgraded calibration system requires a known 18K Yellow Gold piece. You MUST calibrate the machine once powered on, before testing anything.

1. File the 18K calibration piece away from the testing plate to expose fresh metal.
2. Col·loca el filed 18K piece on the testing plate (with the filed side facing up).
3. Press the 'CAL' button on the tester.
4. Touch the pen probe to the filed area of the 18K piece until the display shows 'Success!'.

Testing Gold & Platinum

The AuRACLE PRO offers two testing modes: Fast Test Yellow and Enhanced Mode. You can toggle between these modes by clicking the 'MODE' button.

• Fast Test Yellow Mode: Identifies standard karat values (e.g., 8K, 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K, 24K).
• Enhanced Mode: Offers high-resolution readings that indicate karat values in 1 karat increments (e.g., 11K, 13K, 15K, 16K) with a general accuracy of +/- 1 karat. This mode is the PRO's most accurate test mode and is especially accurate when testing karat ranges less than 18K. It also shows the average gold percentage.

For best results, it is recommended to file a small area on the item to be tested to ensure direct contact with the metal. Place the filed item on the testing plate and touch the pen probe to the filed area. The tester will provide immediate results.

Manteniment

Cleaning the Testing Plate

Wipe down the testing platform with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid using harsh soaps or abrasive cleaners.

Pen Probe Care

Always close the cap on the pen probe when not in use to prevent drying out. With proper care, the replaceable pen probe can last for thousands of tests (approximately 5,000 tests). The saline solution is non-toxic.

Lectures inexactes

If readings are inconsistent or inaccurate, ensure the device is properly calibrated with a known 18K Yellow Gold piece. Always file the test piece to expose fresh metal and ensure good contact with the pen probe and testing plate.
