1. Introducció

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your SMEG TSF01 2-Slice Toaster. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the appliance and retain it for future reference.

2. Informació important de seguretat

4. Configuració i primer ús

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove the toaster from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or disposal.
2. Col·locació: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
3. Neteja inicial: Netegeu l'exterior amb anunciamp cloth. Ensure the crumb tray is properly inserted.
4. Primer ús (cremació): Before toasting food, operate the toaster empty for a few cycles at the highest browning setting (6) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

5. Funcionament

5.1 Torrada bàsica

1. Insert up to two slices of bread or other items into the toasting slots. The self-centering racks will hold them upright.
2. Select your desired browning level using the browning control knob (1 for light, 6 for dark).
3. Press the lever down until it locks into place. The indicator light will illuminate, and the toasting cycle will begin.
4. Once the cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up.

5.2 Funcions especials

• Funció REESCALFAMENT: To warm up previously toasted items. Insert the item, press the lever down, then press the RECALFEM button. The reheat indicator light will illuminate. This function uses a shorter cycle to warm without further browning.
