The OMTEC Chrome Side Door Moldings are a set of four high-quality V2A stainless steel decorative strips designed to enhance the appearance of your Renault Clio IV or Grand Tour IV. These mirror-polished moldings are durable and feature strong 3M adhesive tape on the back for easy and secure installation.

Instruccions d'instal·lació

Follow these steps carefully for proper installation of your OMTEC Chrome Side Door Moldings. Ensure all surfaces are clean and dry before beginning.

1. Environment Preparation: Assemble in a dry and dust-free environment.
2. Condicions de temperatura: The ambient temperature should be between 64-95 °F (18-35 °C) during assembly. If the ambient temperature is below 64 °F, heat the surface using a hair dryer or similar device.
3. Trial Assembly: Before removing the protective tapes, perform a trial assembly to ensure correct positioning of each molding on the vehicle.

4. Neteja de superfícies: Carefully clean the adherence surface on the vehicle with a cotton cloth and ethyl alcohol. Ensure the surface is completely free from dust, grease, silicone, gasoline, diesel oil, or any other compounded products, as these can cause the part to fall off.
5. Primer Application (Optional): If using a primer (a substance facilitating adherence), apply it to the adherence surface and wait for 5 minutes before proceeding with the assembly.
6. Aplicació de l'adhesiu: Remove the protective red film from the double-sided 3M adhesive tape on the back of the product. Begin assembly by starting from the oval and closed surface of the molding.

7. Firm Installation: Install the product by pressing firmly with a smooth cloth or your fingertips. Apply continuous pressure for one minute. If the ambient temperature is below 64 °F, gently heat the product and the surface with a hair dryer during this step to ensure optimal adhesion.

ATENCIÓ:

• The full adhesive strength of the tape will develop within 24 hours. Handle the adhered part carefully during this period.
• After 24 hours, ensure the part is firmly installed and does not get loose.
• Do not wash your vehicle within 24 hours of installation.

Manteniment

To maintain the mirror-polished finish of your OMTEC Chrome Side Door Moldings, regularly clean them with standard car wash soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could scratch the surface or degrade the adhesive. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.

Molding Not Adhering Properly:

• Causa: Insufficient surface cleaning or low installation temperature.
  Solució: Ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of all contaminants. Re-apply at the recommended temperature (64-95 °F), using a hair dryer to warm both the surface and the adhesive if necessary. Apply firm, consistent pressure for at least one minute.
