This manual provides essential information for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Netatmo NWA01-WW Wind Gauge. This device is designed to work in conjunction with a Netatmo Weather Station to provide accurate wind speed and direction data.

Configuració
1. Instal·lació de la bateria
- Twist the bottom section of the Wind Gauge counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.

- Close the battery compartment by twisting the bottom section clockwise until secure.
For optimal performance and extended battery life, lithium AAA batteries are recommended, especially in cold climates.
2. Mounting the Wind Gauge
The Netatmo Wind Gauge should be mounted in an open area, free from obstructions, to ensure accurate wind measurements. Mounting it above the roofline is often ideal.

- Select a mounting location that is as high as possible and clear of obstacles like trees, walls, or other structures that could block wind flow.
- Use the provided mounting accessories to securely attach the Wind Gauge to a pole or suitable surface. Ensure the device is level.
- The Wind Gauge uses ultrasonic technology and does not have moving parts, making its orientation less critical for basic function, but for consistent direction readings, ensure it is aligned with a known cardinal direction if possible, or calibrate within the app.
3. Linking to Your Netatmo Weather Station
The Wind Gauge communicates wirelessly with your Netatmo Weather Station's main indoor module.

- Ensure your Netatmo Weather Station's main module is powered on and connected to your Wi-Fi network.
- Download and open the Netatmo Weather app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add a new module. You may need to use the "Module Manager" tool available on the Netatmo website for initial linking if experiencing difficulties.

Ensure the Wind Gauge is within wireless range of the main Weather Station module. Obstacles like thick walls can reduce signal strength.
Operating the Wind Gauge
Once successfully linked to your Netatmo Weather Station, the Wind Gauge will automatically begin transmitting wind data.

- Module Manager: If initial linking fails, use the Netatmo "Module Manager" tool on their website (link provided in Setup section) to facilitate the connection.
- Reinicia: Try removing and reinserting the batteries in the Wind Gauge, and restart the Netatmo app.
