Introducció

The Navage Nasal Irrigation System is a powered nasal suction device designed to provide fast and effective relief from nasal congestion and stuffiness caused by sinusitis, allergies, colds, flu, dry air, dust, and pollution. It utilizes a gentle saline rinse to flush out allergens, mucus, and dust, promoting clearer nasal passages without the use of drugs.

This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Navage system to ensure a safe and effective experience.

Please read and understand all safety warnings before using the Navage Nasal Irrigation System.

• If you experience pain during use, stop immediately. If the pain continues, consult a health care professional.
• Consult your doctor before use if you have had ear or nose surgery in the past 6 months.

• Consult a health care practitioner if you are using to relieve congestion and there is no improvement after use; if your symptoms persist or worsen; if you have a persistently thick and yellow or green discharge; or if skin at the base of the nostrils becomes raw or crusted.

• Use only as indicated in the instructions provided or as directed by a health care practitioner.
• Consult your physician if you have questions or concerns about whether or not you should irrigate.

Important Water Usage Safety Information: Always use one of the following types of water when using your Navage:

• Commercially bottled; freshly opened
• Destil·lat
• Microfiltrat (0.2 micres)
• Previously boiled for at least 3 minutes and cooled to lukewarm or body temperature; used promptly

DO NOT USE TAP WATER UNLESS STERILIZED BY BOILING.

Most users prefer to warm their water prior to use. If you do this, do not overheat the water. It should be lukewarm to the touch and not hotter than about 85° - 90° F (29° - 32°C).

Configuració

Before your first use, ensure all components are present and follow these steps for proper setup.

1. Instal·leu les bateries: Insert the included AA batteries into the designated compartment. Ensure correct polarity.
2. Attach Nasal Dock: Securely attach the nasal dock to the main unit.
3. Fill Upper Tank: Fill the upper tank with distilled water up to the indicated "FILL LINE". Refer to the Safety Information section for important details on water type.
4. Insert SaltPod: Place a new, unused Navage SaltPod into the crushing chamber with the foil-side down.
5. Tanca la tapa: Close the lid firmly until you hear it click shut. It is crucial not to reopen the lid once a SaltPod is inserted and the lid is closed, as this will activate a safety feature preventing the device from turning on without a new SaltPod.
6. Position Nose Pillows: Position the nose pillows snugly in your nostrils to create a firm seal. You may moisten the nose pillows with water to make them easier to slip into your nostrils.

Instruccions de funcionament

Once the device is set up, follow these steps for an effective nasal rinse:

1. Activa el dispositiu: Firmly push the power button all the way in until the pump starts and the Drain Valve opens.
2. Begin Rinse: The saline solution will begin to flow through one nostril, circulate through your nasal passages, and exit through the other nostril into the lower collection tank.
3. Durada: A typical cycle can last from 10 to 60 seconds, depending on individual anatomy and congestion levels.
4. Finish Cycle: When the rinse is complete, release the power button.
5. Clear Residual Saline: After the cycle, tilt your head forward and gently blow your nose to remove any residual saline solution.
6. Tanc buit: Twist off the bottom tank and empty its contents.

Manteniment

Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential for the longevity and hygienic operation of your Navage system.

• Després de cada ús: The Navage system is designed for hand washing only. After each use, disassemble the unit and thoroughly hand wash all components that come into contact with saline or mucus.
