The AsReader 1D Barcode Sled/Dock/Modular-Type is an ultra-compact and durable accessory designed to enhance the barcode scanning capabilities of compatible iOS devices. Note: Please ensure you select the correct case color (Black or White) and the specific model of your iPhone/iPad/iPod when acquiring the device to ensure proper fit.

4. Configuració

Follow these steps to set up your AsReader 1D Barcode Sled with your compatible iOS device:

1. Desempaquetar components: Carefully remove the AsReader sled, the protective case, and any other accessories from the packaging.
2. Insert iOS Device into Case: Place your iPhone or iPod Touch into the provided protective case. Ensure it is securely seated and all buttons and ports are accessible.
3. Attach AsReader Sled: Align the AsReader sled with the opening in the back of the protective case. Gently slide the sled into place until it clicks securely. The sled's Lightning connector should engage with your iOS device's Lightning port.

4. Càrrec inicial: Connect the magnetic battery charger to the AsReader sled. Ensure both the sled and your iOS device begin charging. A full charge is recommended before first use.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

To operate your AsReader 1D Barcode Sled:

1. Encès: The AsReader sled powers on automatically when connected to a compatible iOS device and has sufficient battery.
2. Launch Application: Open a compatible barcode scanning application on your iOS device. If you are developing your own application, utilize the provided royalty-free SDK.
3. Scan Barcode: Point the scanner window of the AsReader sled at the 1D barcode you wish to scan. Press one of the side buttons (located on either side of the sled) to activate the scanner. The device will emit a scan beam.
4. Confirmació: A successful scan is typically indicated by an audible beep and/or visual feedback within the scanning application.

The AsReader is designed with buttons on both sides, allowing for comfortable operation whether you are left-handed or right-handed.

6. Manteniment

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your AsReader device:

• Scanner Window: Keep the scanner window clean and free of dust or smudges to ensure accurate barcode reading. Use a lens cleaning cloth if necessary.
