1. Introducció

The Zinus SmartBase is a robust mattress foundation designed to provide strong support for your mattress without the need for a traditional box spring. Its heavy-duty steel construction ensures durability and stability, while offering valuable underbed storage space.

• Precaució: Be cautious when handling and assembling the product due to potential sharp edges and its heavy weight.
• Keep the assembly area clear of obstructions to prevent tripping on the recessed legs during setup.
• Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before placing a mattress on the foundation.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity: 1500 lbs for Twin and Twin XL sizes, and 3000 lbs for Full, Queen, King, and California King sizes.

4. Instruccions de muntatge i instal·lació

The Zinus SmartBase is designed for quick, tool-free assembly. Follow these steps:

1. Unboxing: Carefully open the shipping box. The foundation comes compactly folded.
2. Desplega el marc: Place the folded frame on its side in the desired location. Gently unfold each section of the frame. For Full, Queen, King, and California King sizes, you will have two sections.
3. Extend and Lock Legs: Once unfolded, carefully flip the frame so the legs are facing downwards. Extend each leg outwards until it locks into place. Ensure the support braces on each leg are fully extended and secured.
4. Secure Leg Braces: For added stability, ensure the small hook-like braces on the legs are properly engaged with the frame. These braces should click into place.
5. Connect Frame Sections (for larger sizes): If your foundation consists of two sections, align them side-by-side. Use the provided hardware kit (bolts and wing nuts) to securely connect the two sections in the middle. Tighten these by hand until snug.
6. Place Non-Slip Pad: Lay the included non-slip mattress pad directly on top of the metal slats. This will help prevent your mattress from shifting.
7. Matràs individual: Carefully place your mattress directly onto the assembled foundation. No box spring is needed.
