1. Introducció

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Cobra ACXT1035R FLT Floating Walkie Talkies. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.

3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Assegureu-vos que la ràdio estigui apagada.
2. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la ràdio.
3. Open the cover and insert 3 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Tanqueu de manera segura la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

3.2 Càrrega

For initial use, fully charge the batteries. The radios can be charged using the included charging dock or individually via the micro-USB port.

1. Connect the micro-USB cable to the charging dock and a power source.
2. Place the walkie talkies into the charging slots on the dock. Ensure they are seated correctly.
3. The charging indicator light on the radio or dock will illuminate to show charging status.
4. Alternatively, connect the micro-USB cable directly to the micro-USB port on each radio for individual charging.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Encès/Apagat

• To power on: Press and hold the Power/Menu button until the display illuminates.
• To power off: Press and hold the Power/Menu button until the display turns off.

4.2 Selecció de canals

The radio supports 22 channels. To change channels:

1. Press the Menu button. The channel number will flash.
2. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to select the desired channel (1-22).
3. Press the Menu button again to confirm, or wait a few seconds for the selection to auto-confirm.

The radio features 121 privacy codes to minimize interference from other users on the same channel. To set a privacy code:

1. Select your desired channel first.
2. Press the Menu button twice. The privacy code number will flash.
3. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to select the desired privacy code (0-121).
4. Press the Menu button again to confirm, or wait a few seconds for the selection to auto-confirm.

4.4 VOX (Transmissió activada per veu)

VOX allows hands-free operation. The radio transmits when your voice is detected.

• To activate/deactivate VOX: Refer to the detailed instructions in the full product manual for specific menu navigation.
• Adjust VOX sensitivity: Higher sensitivity detects softer voices, lower sensitivity requires louder speech.

4.5 Rewind-Say-Again®

This feature automatically records the last 20 seconds of incoming audio, allowing you to replay missed calls.

• To use: Press the dedicated Rewind-Say-Again button (refer to radio diagram for location).

4.6 NOAA Weather & Alert

Stay informed about weather conditions and emergencies with the built-in NOAA radio receiver.

• To access NOAA Weather Channels: Press the WX button.
• Weather Alert: The radio can automatically alert you to severe weather or other emergencies. Enable this feature in the menu settings.

4.7 Built-In LED/S.O.S. Flashlight

The flashlight provides illumination and an S.O.S. signaling function.

• To activate flashlight: Press the dedicated Flashlight button.
• To activate S.O.S. mode: Press the Flashlight button multiple times or hold it down (refer to full manual for exact sequence).

4.8 Vibralert & Call Alert

Your radio can alert you to incoming signals silently or audibly.

• Call Tone: The radio sounds an audible tone for incoming calls.
• Vibralert: The radio vibrates silently for incoming calls. This can be enabled/disabled in the menu.

4.9 Bloqueig de tecles

• To activate/deactivate Key Lock: Press and hold the Lock button (often combined with another function button). A lock icon will appear on the display.

6. Manteniment

• Neteja: Utilitzeu un suau, damp drap per netejar l'exterior de la ràdio. No utilitzeu productes químics agressius ni netejadors abrasius.
• Impermeabilització: Ensure the battery compartment cover and any port covers are securely closed before exposing the radio to water. While IPX7 rated, prolonged submersion or high-pressure water jets should be avoided.
• Cura de la bateria: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. If the radio will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.
• Emmagatzematge: Guardeu la ràdio en un lloc sec i sense pols, allunyat de temperatures extremes.

7. Solució De Problemes

• Sense energia: Check if batteries are correctly installed and fully charged. Replace with fresh batteries if necessary.
• Poor Range/Interference: Ensure both radios are on the same channel and privacy code. Move to an open area away from obstructions (buildings, hills, dense foliage). Check battery level.
• Unclear Audio: Adjust volume. Ensure the microphone is not obstructed. Speak clearly and directly into the microphone.
• La ràdio no respon: Try turning the radio off and then on again. If issues persist, remove and reinsert batteries.
