1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the Numeric Digital 1000 HPH UPS. This Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is designed to provide reliable power backup and protection for your electronic devices. 2. Instruccions de seguretat importants

Please read and follow all instructions carefully before installing and operating the UPS. Keep this manual for future reference.

• No obriu el SAI casing. No hi ha peces a l'interior que l'usuari pugui reparar. Demaneu totes les tasques de manteniment a personal de servei qualificat.
• No instal·leu el SAI a la llum solar directa, a prop de fonts de calor ni en zones amb excessiva pols, humitat o substàncies corrosives.
• Assegureu-vos que hi hagi una ventilació adequada al voltant del SAI. No bloquegeu les obertures de ventilació.
• Connecteu el SAI només a una presa de corrent de CA amb connexió a terra.
• No connecteu aparells que puguin sobrecarregar el SAI, com ara impressores làser o aspiradores.
• In case of fire, use a dry chemical fire extinguisher. Water can cause electrical shock.
• Disconnect the UPS from the AC power outlet before cleaning. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.

5. Configuració i instal·lació

5.1 Desembalatge i col·locació

Unpack the UPS and place it on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

5.2 Connecting the UPS

Before connecting any devices, ensure the UPS is turned off. Connect the UPS to a grounded wall outlet using the provided power cord. Then, connect your computer, monitor, and other essential peripherals to the output sockets on the rear of the UPS.

Input Protector: This is a resettable circuit breaker that protects the UPS from input overcurrent. If it trips, press it to reset after resolving the issue.

Endolls de sortida: Connect your devices to these sockets. Ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed the UPS's capacity (600W).

Voltage Range Switch (Narrow/Wide): This switch allows you to select the acceptable input voltage range. "Narrow" typically provides more precise voltage regulation, while "Wide" allows the UPS to operate in environments with larger voltage fluctuations before switching to battery power. Consult your local power conditions to choose the appropriate setting.

6. Funcionament

6.1 Turning On/Off the UPS

To turn on the UPS, press and hold the power button on the front panel for a few seconds until you hear a beep and the indicators light up. To turn off the UPS, press and hold the power button again until the indicators turn off.

6.2 Llums indicadors

The front panel features several indicator lights to show the operational status of the UPS:

• Indicador de mode de CA: Lights up when the UPS is operating on utility power.
• Battery Mode Indicator: Lights up when the UPS is operating on battery power (during a power outagi).
• Fault/Warning Indicator: Lights up to indicate a fault condition or warning (e.g., overload, battery low). Refer to the troubleshooting section for details.
• Indicador de nivell de bateria: Shows the approximate charge level of the internal battery.

6.3 Power Protection Features

The Numeric Digital 1000 HPH UPS provides:

7. Manteniment

Un manteniment adequat garanteix la longevitat i el rendiment òptim del vostre SAI.

• Cura de la bateria: To maximize battery life, avoid frequent deep discharges. It is recommended to fully discharge and recharge the UPS battery once every three months if it's not frequently used.
• Neteja: Desconnecteu el SAI de la presa de corrent abans de netejar-lo. Feu servir un drap suau i sec per netejar l'exterior. No utilitzeu netejadors líquids ni aerosols.
• Ventilació: Ensure that the ventilation openings on the UPS are clear of dust and obstructions to prevent overheating.
• Emmagatzematge: If storing the UPS for an extended period, ensure the battery is fully charged, then disconnect it from the power source. Recharge the battery every 3-6 months to prevent battery degradation.
