3. Configuració

Before operating the generator, ensure it is properly fueled and oiled.

3.1 Afegir oli de motor

1. Place the generator on a firm, level surface.
2. Locate the oil maintenance cover (Figure 3.1).
3. Remove the oil maintenance cover and then the oil plug.
4. Using a funnel, carefully add the specified amount of 4-stroke engine oil (SAE 10W-30) until it reaches the upper limit mark on the dipstick. The oil capacity is approximately 0.45 liters.
5. Reinsert the oil plug and secure the oil maintenance cover.

3.2 Afegir combustible (gasolina)

2. Unscrew the fuel tank cap (Figure 3.2).
3. Carefully pour unleaded gasoline into the fuel tank, ensuring not to exceed the red level indicator inside the tank. The fuel tank capacity is 4.2 liters.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

Follow these steps to safely start and operate your KOSHIN Inverter Generator GV-16i.

4.1 Arrencada del motor

1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and has sufficient fuel and oil.
2. Set the fuel cock knob to the "ON" position.
3. Turn the engine switch to "ON".
4. Move the choke lever to the "START" position (if the engine is cold).
5. Pull the recoil starter grip firmly until the engine starts.
6. Once the engine starts and runs smoothly, gradually return the choke lever to the "RUN" position.
7. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting any electrical devices.

• Plug your electrical devices into the AC outlets.

6.1 Llums indicadors

• Output Indicator (Green): Illuminates when the generator is producing stable power.
• Oil Warning Lamp (vermell): Illuminates when engine oil is low. The engine will automatically stop to prevent damage. Refill engine oil to the proper level.
• Overload Warning Lamp (vermell): Illuminates when the generator is overloaded. The power output will be cut off. Reduce the load by disconnecting appliances and press the AC reset button to restore power. The engine will not stop during an overload.
