Before operating your generator for the first time, or after extended storage, follow these steps carefully:

4.1 Afegir oli de motor

1. Col·loqueu el generador sobre una superfície plana.
2. Localitzeu el tap/vareta d'ompliment d'oli.
3. Remove the cap and add the recommended engine oil (e.g., SAE 10W-30) up to the full mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill. Refer to the engine manual for specific oil capacity and type.
4. Torneu a col·locar el tap d'ompliment d'oli de manera segura.

4.2 Afegir combustible

1. Assegureu-vos que el motor estigui apagat i fred.
2. Obriu el tap del dipòsit de combustible.
3. Carefully pour fresh, unleaded gasoline into the fuel tank, up to the designated fill level. Do not overfill. The fuel tank capacity is 15 liters.
4. Tanqueu bé el tap del dipòsit de combustible. Netegeu immediatament qualsevol vessament de combustible.

4.3 Connexió a terra del generador

For safety, the generator must be properly grounded. Connect a grounding wire from the generator's grounding terminal to an appropriate ground source, such as a ground rod.

5. Funcionament

5.1 Starting the Engine (Recoil Start)

1. Assegureu-vos que el generador estigui sobre una superfície plana i que totes les càrregues elèctriques estiguin desconnectades.
2. Turn the engine switch (ENG.SW) to the "ON" position.
3. Obriu la vàlvula de combustible (si escau).
4. Moveu la palanca de l'estrangulador a la posició "CHOKE" (si el motor està fred).
5. Grasp the recoil starter handle firmly and pull it slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly to start the engine. Repeat if necessary.
6. Un cop el motor s'hagi engegat, moveu gradualment la palanca de l'estrangulador a la posició "RUN".
7. Deixeu que el motor s'escalfi durant uns minuts abans de connectar les càrregues.

5.2 Connexió de càrregues elèctriques

1. Ensure the generator is running smoothly and the voltmeter shows the correct output voltagi (220-240V).
2. Plug your electrical devices into the AC outlets. Do not exceed the rated AC output of 2.8 kW (or max 3.5 kW for short periods).
3. Monitor the generator for any signs of overload, such as engine strain or the circuit breaker tripping.

5.3 Parar el motor

1. Desconnecteu totes les càrregues elèctriques del generador.
2. Deixeu que el motor funcioni durant uns minuts sense càrrega perquè es refredi.
3. Turn the engine switch (ENG.SW) to the "OFF" position.
4. Close the fuel valve (if applicable).

6. Manteniment

El manteniment regular és crucial per a la longevitat i el funcionament fiable del generador. Assegureu-vos sempre que el motor estigui apagat i fred abans de realitzar qualsevol manteniment.

6.1 Canvi d'oli del motor

• Canvieu l'oli del motor després de les primeres 20 hores de funcionament, després cada 50-100 hores o anualment, el que passi primer.
• Drain the old oil while the engine is warm.
• Refill with the recommended oil type and quantity.

6.2 Neteja/substitució del filtre d'aire

• Inspect the air filter every 25-50 hours of operation or more frequently in dusty conditions.
• Clean the foam element with warm, soapy water, rinse, and allow to dry completely. Lightly oil before reinstallation.
• Replace the air filter element if it is damaged or excessively dirty.

6.3 Inspecció de la bugia

• Inspeccioneu la bugia cada 100 hores o anualment.
• Clean carbon deposits and check the electrode gap. Replace if worn or fouled.
