This manual provides important information for the safe and efficient operation of your Magic Chef Portable Countertop Ice Maker. Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance.

Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials and check for any damage.
2. Col·locació: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
3. Neteja inicial: Before first use, clean the interior of the unit, including the water reservoir, ice basket, and ice scoop, with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Afegeix aigua: Open the cover and pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill.
2. Encès: Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the ice maker. The "POWER" indicator light will illuminate.
3. Selecciona la mida del gel: Press the "SELECT" button to choose your desired ice cube size (Small or Large). The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
4. Producció de gel: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice may take slightly longer (approximately 7-13 minutes). Subsequent cycles will be faster.
5. Indicador de gel ple: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will pause ice production.
6. Afegeix un indicador d'aigua: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will stop ice production. Add more water to resume.
7. Recollida de gel: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket. For best results, transfer ice to a freezer for storage as the ice maker is not a freezer and ice will melt over time.
8. Apagar: Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn off the ice maker when not in use.

Manteniment i Neteja

Una neteja i un manteniment regulars garantiran la longevitat i el rendiment òptim de la vostra màquina de gel.

Manteniment diari:

• Empty the ice basket and water reservoir after each use.
• Wipe down the interior and exterior with a soft, damp tela.

Weekly/Bi-Weekly Cleaning:

1. Desendolleu la unitat.
2. Drain all water from the reservoir by removing the drain cap located at the bottom of the unit.
3. Clean the interior with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. For stubborn mineral deposits, a solution of vinegar and water (1:1 ratio) can be used.
4. Pay special attention to the ice-making fingers and the water tray. Use a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub.
5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any detergent or vinegar residue.
6. Dry all surfaces before reassembling and storing or using again.

Emmagatzematge:

If storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure it is completely dry to prevent mold or mildew growth. Store in a cool, dry place.
