1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the Smartwares SC45 Motion Sensor Alarm System. This device is designed to secure small areas such as kiosks, apartments, or small shops by detecting motion and triggering a loud alarm. Please read this manual carefully before installation and use to ensure proper operation and safety.

5. Configuració i instal·lació

5.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the motion sensor unit.
2. Feu lliscar la tapa de la bateria.
3. Introduïu les 4 piles AA, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-) tal com s'indica a l'interior del compartiment.

5.2 Muntatge del sensor

The Smartwares SC45 can be mounted using adhesive strips or screws. Choose a location that provides optimal coverage of the area you wish to protect, typically in a corner or on a wall, facing the entry point.

• For Adhesive Mounting: Clean the desired surface thoroughly. Apply strong double-sided adhesive strips (not included, unless specified in package contents) to the back of the sensor unit and press firmly onto the wall.
• Per al muntatge amb cargols:
  1. Marqueu la posició de muntatge desitjada a la paret.

  3. Secure the mounting bracket (if detachable) or the unit directly using the provided screws.
  4. Ensure the sensor is positioned to cover the intended detection area. The detection range is up to 8 meters.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

The Smartwares SC45 is operated using the included remote controls.

6.1 Arming the Alarm

• Premeu el botó ON botó del comandament a distància.
• The sensor unit will emit a short beep, and the red indicator light will flash briefly, indicating that the alarm is armed.
• There is an exit delay period (typically 10-15 seconds) during which you can leave the protected area without triggering the alarm.

6.2 Desactivació de l'alarma

• Upon entering the protected area, the sensor will detect motion and an entry delay period will begin (typically 5-10 seconds).
• During this delay, press the OFF botó del comandament a distància.
• The sensor unit will emit a short beep, and the red indicator light will turn off, indicating that the alarm is disarmed.
• If the alarm is not disarmed within the entry delay period, the siren will sound.

6.3 Alarm Trigger

• If motion is detected while the alarm is armed and the entry delay expires without disarming, the siren will sound at 105 dB.
• The alarm will typically sound for a set duration (e.g., 30-60 seconds) and then reset, re-arming itself.

7. Manteniment

7.1 Substitució de la bateria

When the alarm unit's indicator light remains dimly lit or the alarm performance degrades, it is time to replace the batteries.

1. Desactiveu l'alarma.
2. Obriu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la unitat.
3. Traieu les piles AA antigues.
4. Introduïu 4 piles alcalines AA noves, respectant la polaritat correcta.
5. Tanqueu la tapa de la bateria.
6. Test the alarm's functionality with the remote control.

7.2 Neteja

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the unit.
