Configuració i instal·lació
1. Font d'alimentació
The thermostat operates on 2 AA alkaline batteries (included) for convenient and reliable power. It also supports 24 VAC dual power systems.

Refer to the following diagrams for proper wiring based on your specific HVAC system. Ensure power is turned off to your HVAC system at the circuit breaker before beginning any wiring.

3. Muntatge
The thermostat can be installed in either horizontal or vertical orientation. Ensure the mounting location is away from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources that could affect temperature readings.

- Pantalla LCD: Shows current temperature, time, day, system mode, and other indicators.

Configuració de l’hora i el dia
- Slide the Set switch to DAY/TIME.

- Slide the Set switch back to RUN to save changes.
Programming the 5-1-1 Day Schedule
The P621U-010 allows for a 5-1-1 day programming schedule, meaning one schedule for weekdays (Monday-Friday), and separate schedules for Saturday and Sunday. Each day can have up to 4 periods (Morn, Day, Eve, Night).
- Slide the Set switch to TEMP PROG.
- The display will show the first programming period (e.g., MORN for weekdays).
- Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the desired start time for this period.
- Press NEXT. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set the desired temperature for this period.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all 4 periods (MORN, DAY, EVE, NIGHT) for the weekday schedule.
- After programming the weekday schedule, press NEXT to move to Saturday's schedule, then Sunday's schedule. Repeat the process for each day.
- Slide the Set switch back to RUN to save all programmed settings and exit programming mode.
Adjusting Temperature Swing (Differential)
The thermostat features adjustable temperature swing settings with 9-step control for precise temperature management. This controls how far the temperature can drift from your set point before the system activates.
- Ensure the System Mode switch is in the OFF position.
- Press and hold the NEXT button for 5 seconds to enter the advanced settings menu.
- Navigate through the settings using the NEXT button until you find the temperature swing setting (often indicated by a number or specific symbol).
- Use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the swing value. A lower number means less temperature fluctuation.
- Press NEXT to save and exit, or slide the System Mode switch to HEAT or COOL.
Pantalla Fahrenheit/Celsius
You can choose between Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature display options.
- Ensure the System Mode switch is in the OFF position.
- Press and hold the NEXT button for 5 seconds to enter the advanced settings menu.
- Navigate through the settings using the NEXT button until you find the temperature unit setting.
- Use the UP/DOWN buttons to toggle between °F and °C.
- Press NEXT to save and exit, or slide the System Mode switch to HEAT or COOL.
Manteniment
Canvi de bateria
The thermostat requires 2 AA alkaline batteries. When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Avoid using rechargeable batteries as they may cause voltage qüestions.

The thermostat includes a programmable air filter monitor. When the filter percentage reaches a low threshold, a reminder will appear on the display, indicating it's time to check or replace your HVAC system's air filter. To reset the monitor, slide the Set switch to AIR FILTER and follow the on-screen instructions.
Resolució de problemes
- Thermostat not responding / Blank display: Check battery installation and replace with fresh alkaline AA batteries. Ensure the thermostat is properly seated on its base.
- System not heating/cooling: Verify the System Mode switch is set to HEAT or COOL. Check the set temperature to ensure it is above (for heat) or below (for cool) the ambient temperature. Ensure your HVAC system's power is on.
- Short cycling (system turns on/off too frequently): Adjust the temperature swing (differential) setting in the advanced menu. Increasing the swing value will allow for a wider temperature range before the system activates, reducing short cycling.
- Programming difficulties: Refer to the 'Programming the 5-1-1 Day Schedule' section. Ensure you are using the NEXT button to advance through periods and the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust values. The thermostat includes a COPY feature to duplicate daily programs, simplifying setup.
- Battery low warning persists after replacement: Ensure new batteries are fresh alkaline AA batteries. Some rechargeable batteries may not provide sufficient voltage. If the issue continues, contact customer support.
