2. Configuració

2.1 Initial Charging of the Kinetic Movement

Your Seiko Kinetic watch is powered by your body's movement. If the watch has stopped or the power reserve is low, it needs to be charged. To initiate charging:

1. Hold the watch firmly in one hand.
2. Swing the watch from side to side in an arc of approximately 20 cm (8 inches) at a rate of about two swings per second.
3. Continue this motion for several minutes until the second hand begins to move normally (one-second intervals). For a full charge, continue swinging for approximately 250 swings (about 5 minutes) to achieve a 6-month power reserve.

Regular daily wear will keep the watch sufficiently charged. If the watch is not worn for extended periods, repeat the charging process.

1. Unscrew the crown (if applicable) and pull it out to the second click position. The second hand will stop.
2. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set for the 24-hour GMT hand.

1. Rotate the bezel counter-clockwise until the triangle marker aligns with the minute hand.
2. The numbers on the bezel will then indicate the elapsed time in minutes since the minute hand passed the triangle marker.

The bezel is unidirectional to prevent accidental rotation in the wrong direction, which could lead to an overestimation of remaining dive time.
