Introducció

The Polycom VVX D60 Cordless Handset is designed to extend the functionality of your Polycom VVX desk phone system. This handset provides mobility and convenience within your office environment. It is important to note that the VVX D60 Cordless Handset is an add-on device and requires a compatible Polycom VVX desk phone and a VVX D60 base station (part number 2200-17821-001) to function. It is not a standalone phone system.

The system supports up to 5 handsets per base station and allows for up to 4 simultaneous calls and 5 SIP accounts.

Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del telèfon.
2. Feu lliscar la coberta cap avall i aixequeu-la.
3. Insert the two AAA rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
4. Torneu a col·locar la tapa del compartiment de la bateria, fent-la lliscar cap amunt fins que encaixi al seu lloc.

2. Càrrega del telèfon

1. Connect the power adapter to the charger cradle and then plug it into a power outlet.
2. Place the handset into the charger cradle. The display will indicate that it is charging.
3. Allow the handset to charge for at least 6 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance. A fully charged battery provides up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

3. Registre del telèfon

The VVX D60 handset must be registered to a VVX D60 base station, which is connected to a compatible Polycom VVX desk phone (VVX 300, 301, 310, 311, 400, 401, 410, 411, 500, 501, 600, 601). Refer to the Quick Start Guide included with your base station for specific registration instructions. Generally, this involves:

• Accessing the menu on your VVX desk phone to initiate handset registration.
• Placing the D60 handset into its charging cradle to begin the pairing process.
• Following on-screen prompts on both the desk phone and handset to complete registration.

Operating the Handset

Funcions de trucada bàsiques

• Fer una trucada: Introduïu el número de telèfon amb el teclat numèric i premeu la tecla Green Call Button.

Control de volum

Durant una trucada, utilitzeu Up/Down Navigation Buttons to adjust the earpiece volume. The volume can also be adjusted for the ringer when the phone is idle.

Funció de silenci

Premeu el botó Botó de silenci (microphone icon) during a call to mute your microphone. Press it again to unmute.

Ús d'auriculars

The handset features a dedicated headset port. Connect a compatible 2.5mm headset using the provided headset adapter for hands-free communication.

Visualització i navegació

The 2-inch TFT 178x220 color LCD provides clear information. Use the central Navigation Cluster (OK button and directional arrows) to navigate menus, access contacts, and view registres de trucades.

Manteniment

Neteja de l'auricular

To clean the handset and charger cradle, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the device.

• Use only the specified Nickel Metal-Hydride (NiMH) 800mAh rechargeable batteries.

Resolució de problemes

Handset Not Powering On

No Dial Tone / Cannot Make or Receive Calls

• Confirm the handset is successfully registered to the VVX D60 base station.
• Ensure the VVX D60 base station is powered on and properly connected to your compatible VVX desk phone.
• Check the connection of the VVX desk phone to your network.
• Verify that your SIP accounts are active and correctly configured on the VVX desk phone.

Poor Call Quality or Limited Range

• Move closer to the VVX D60 base station.
• Ensure there are no large metal objects or other electronic devices interfering with the DECT signal between the handset and base station.

Handset Not Registering

• Double-check that you are attempting to register to a VVX D60 base station (part number 2200-17821-001) and not directly to a VVX desk phone without the base.
• Ensure the VVX desk phone is a compatible model (VVX 300, 301, 310, 311, 400, 401, 410, 411, 500, 501, 600, 601).
• Follow the registration steps precisely as outlined in the Quick Start Guide for the base station.
