5. Instal·lació

The Steinel XLED Home 2 S is designed for wall mounting. For electrical connections, it is strongly recommended to consult a qualified electrician.

Passos de muntatge:

1. Tria la ubicació: Select a suitable outdoor location for wall mounting, ensuring the desired detection area is covered by the sensor.
2. Preparació del cablejat: Ensure the power supply is disconnected at the main circuit breaker. Prepare the electrical wires for connection.
3. Placa base de muntatge: Secure the floodlight's base plate to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs. Use spacers if necessary to ensure a flush fit or accommodate wiring.
4. Connecteu els cables elèctrics: Connect the live (L), neutral (N), and earth (PE) wires to the corresponding terminals on the floodlight. Ensure connections are secure.
5. Connecteu el focus: Carefully attach the floodlight unit to the mounted base plate and secure it with the small screw located at the bottom of the light.
6. Restaura l'alimentació: Un cop finalitzada la instal·lació i totes les connexions siguin segures, restableix l'alimentació del circuit.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

The Steinel XLED Home 2 S features adjustable settings for its motion sensor to customize its operation according to your needs.

Ajust del sensor de moviment:

The motion sensor's settings can be adjusted using the rotary knobs located on the underside of the sensor unit.

• Time Setting (Temporisation): This knob controls how long the light remains on after motion is detected. The adjustable range is typically from 8 seconds to 35 minutes.
• Twilight Setting (Crépuscularité): This knob determines the ambient light level at which the sensor becomes active. The adjustable range is from approximately 2 lux (dark) to 2000 lux (daylight). Set it to a lower lux value for activation only in darker conditions, or a higher value for activation even in brighter conditions.

Adjusting Detection Zone:

The 180° infrared motion sensor can detect movement up to 10 meters. To prevent unwanted activations (e.g., from passing traffic or pets), you can precisely adjust the detection zone.
